  1. On the Skelton site, why does the Shadow key say Legacy Edition? I'm not aware of a previous make of it.

    My theory...

All of the other keys (SDCC Ghost Key, Head Key, Echo Key, and Anywhere Key) are all limited editions. The original Ghost Key was limited to 200 pieces, the others were limited to 500 pieces. The Legacy Edition Ghost Key and now the Legacy Shadow Key are NOT limited, so theoretically they will always be in stock.

The SDCC ghost key was also limited to 500 pieces...

And I'm confused because the Shadow key states, "This officially licensed replica measures approx. 3-inches long" - where was the original distributed? I have an inquiry in to Israel.

  2. Longbox diving in my own longboxes today and found 2 more #1 first prints!! I don't need to go to any LCS's. I found all sorts of goodies today!

I'm really just so jealous... do you need any help looking through your long boxes? I'm really good at dusting things off and cleaning cobwebs.... :insane:

  3. On the way from CGC as we speak....

    L/K #1 Signed Edition - 9.8

L/K Welcome to Lovecraft Special Edition Variant - 9.8

    L/K Crown of Shadows #1 Jetpack Variant - 9.8

    L/K Head Games #1 Jetpack Variant - 9.8

    IDW 10 Year Anniversary Comic - 9.8

Pretty nice haul. I thought the Welcome to Lovecraft Special Edition and the 10 Year Anniversary comic were borderline 9.6/9.8. Good to know my pre-screening turned out to be conservative.

    :applause: Excellent grades!

  4. The one in the middle I've had for awhile. The two on either side I picked up at my LCS today. To me, center is black sandwiched by two blue/grays.
A most awesome find! I wish CGC would call these variants because, I found the isolated print run numbers. rantrant

Or maybe more accurately second prints.... because they really are :)

  5. nice where is he signing at ?

so how do you guys tell what cgc is currently grading ?..

I need to read HORNS and I better get on it QUICK. lol

He was doing signed preorders for that book you should try to find one of those

I'm going to have him sign one personally for me next week.

I can only tell what CGC is grading that is MINE. To find out total copies of what they have already graded, you look at the census.

That is what I thought .... :D Hrmm...

One book I submited at the con is showing up already I wonder if its mine or someone else did the same thing as me ...

Would this be done already ?.. :o

They usually add them once a month (I believe - like end of month)... probably wouldn't be done unless you had it fast-tracked.

  7. It's the black/gray background which is the original issue. The blue background was printed after the truck accident and distributed. Both have almost the same print run.

Go here to see the discussion:

    L&K #3 discussion

It was just dumb luck, I saw a difference. I think it was the different staple placement, I noticed first. hm

Which is the same thing you noticed with the first arc #4s. :)

225.49 final hammer price on that book. No way i would have gone that high.

So I wonder what it is about IDW books that makes cgc grade them more strictly ... Just printed with better quality paper or what

So synch... wanna sell that book back to me for what you paid? lol

Unbelievable price. I almost fell off my chair this morning.

I guess somebody realllllly wanted it. ... that's too much for me as well... i wonder what the next one will go for ...

I can't imagine it will be a whole lot less. There were eight different bidders and 7 of those still want it. :)

  9. My six-book first arc set just sold on eBay and it was out there less than 24 hours. Wow.
I was shocked they didn't sell here, actually. :o

I'm not. I feel blacklisted when I try to sell on these boards. The only books of mine that get sold are the ones I give away for postage. lol The little cliques here don't like me.

I don't know you well enough to dislike you, but give me time, I'm sure I can get there. :P

I've never let something as unimportant as "like" or "dislike" get in the way of buying and selling comics. That would be silly.

    :jokealert:

It's so hard to read sarcasm in these messages. :)
