  1. Two books standard received 12/26, shipped today 1/22. That seems to be more than 15 business days. I have pre screen values from 10/7 that say graded not shipped. That's over 3 months on those orders. I don't see much of any improvement in turn around times the past few months. CGC is attending three separate shows this weekend.
  2. Nice 112 bomber-bob, hopefully I will find one that nice for my 10 cent run this year.
  3. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Batman-Adventures-12-CGC-9-6-WHITE-1st-Harley-Quinn-App-DC-Comic-Cartoon-/131067340685?pt=US_Comic_Books&hash=item1e8438e78d This has 29 bids, why is it not showing up on your site under most active Modern. I like your contribution to these threads, but for some reason a lot of information is not making your site.
  4. Again. This is information from eBay who is watching and tracking this information. If your watch counts are wrong then either eBay is reporting it wrong or you are recording it wrong. I do not believe more people are searching on Ebay for New Mutants 87 compared to New Mutants 98. Explain to me why you have it #3 under the all ages section, yet in Copper new Mutants 98 is not ranking in the top 20.
  5. I looked under popular search all ages, which I would think is all era's in comic books categories combined. New Mutants 98 is #3 which to me sounds accurate, yet New Mutants 98 isn't popular enough to crack the top 20 in either Modern nor Copper? ASM 300 is #20 over all, yet does not make the top 20 in a specialized category. I think Whetteon has an interesting site that has promise, I do like the idea and his support here on the Chat boards as a valuable member. However the site in my opinion still has bugs or errors in the software.
  6. Yes but Whetteons report is in error as its not accurately recording some of my watch counts, which leads me to believe that the search count is inaccurate also. The absence of New Mutants 98 and Amazing Spider-man 300 not cracking the top 20? Amazing Spider-Man 129 and 121 do not make the top 20 under bronze either, I'm not a believer.
  7. I monitor my own listings with regards to watchers, many of my books do not make your list even though they have a higher watch count. New Mutants 98 does not make the top 20, nor does ASM 300 of favorite searches, sorry but those are the two mega Copper Keys. No X-Factor 6 either
  8. The strawberry shortcake, masters of universe, ewoks, thunder cats have a toy movie tv crossover which creates some collectible demand. Otherwise there is little demand in the general comic collecting community.
  9. The #1's in the star line are typically the most common, the tail end of the runs can get quite scarce for an 80's book.
  10. Been one of the most overlooked BA/CA book in years. I sell NM raw copies for $50 all day long. I bet I have sold a dozen in the last 2 years they don't last long ever. Very easy sell in any grade almost. I disagree, how about decade +. I was getting $35.00 for VF back in 2001. Oh and many go to Australia.
  11. Sold a book to Justin via paypal, a pleasant sale to a serious collector. Thank you
  12. No, I'm still waiting for my modern pre screen to get here that was invoiced on June 10th. I wouldbe calling on that one... my aug 26 is at graded It shipped last week, should get here any day. It was stuck at graded for what seemed like ever, two months or so. If you send books through walk through and express you get them done real quick, which is what some dealers do. So they pay the extra.

  14. Modern from 6/10 ships on Oct 31st. Finally Over four months for a modern sub!!!!!!!! Really? Was there a mix up? I called a couple weeks ago about the order, they were not going to specifically go look for it, said they were 3-4 months on Moderns as they were backed up at encapsulation.
  15. before the curve on the curve behind the curve around and around she goes where she lands nobody knows
  16. Pre screen modern received 6/10 has BA 12, can't figure out if I'm making money by it not shipping.
  17. Pre screen modern received 6/10, says graded. Pre screen modern received 7/1, shipped 10/3. Pre screen moderns do not ship in the order in which they are received.
  18. Yes Ahead of curve, on the curve, behind the curve
  19. I've had the 113 for at least 10 years, I picked up the 116 in Chicago this summer.
  20. I have been on the hunt for this book for a half a decade and my data base says I sold 14 of the 9.8's and flipped a dozen more, 27 copies in the past 5 years. A bunch of the sales in 2009 were mine as I had a catch of them in the dollar bins. I also had the than record of $390.00 in July. Very few knew this book was collectable a 3-5 years ago. Than the big swoop came through and dealer inventories were stripped of copies by savvy collectors and clowns like myself as they were caught off guard and sold for a buck or two. The cats out of the bag and the book has been on a majority of dealers radar for the past few years and copies have drifted to the convention walls. Inventories have cleared and this book is no longer plentiful, I saw 4 copies at NY and bought only one, none were better than 8.5. There were a lot more copies available at Chicago. Although with the $700+ sale hitting the Bay, the tree's will shake harder and more copies will come out of the woodwork. Its going to be an interesting ride now through January, as a new price scale will be established.
  21. My daughter is in school, I'm working, the UPS guy just dropped off a box. I'm working. Okay, so I'm at work browsing the CGC boards. But that still counts, right? I'm a comic book dealer, yes I work from home. I'm calling to figure out where my order is so I can sell the books to make my house payment.
