  1. +1 It's neat to see his take on other established characters.
  2. Do I want more Invincible? Yes. Do I want it every month on time? Absolutely. Do I want Kirkman's other stuff too like Walking Dead? Yeah... What I don't want.... is for Kirkman to give Invincible to another writer just so it can come out on a monthly schedule. So I'll take the "SAGA schedule" for Invincible. It is what it is.
  3. +1 Jay Faerber is a great writer! I loved his old series Dynamo 5 too.
  4. tease!!! So these pages arrived today... (Pencils and Inks 115, page 2). That's a really cool page!
  5. #111 had 4 covers. Regular, B&W incentive, Pencil sketch cover, and blank cover. (All are in the auction listed above too.) Great list! (thumbs u
  6. why all the issue 12 mentions? Because issue 12 is the big fight with his dad. It's F'N awesome.
  7. SUPAH sexy. I told you I was going to sell it if it came back a 9.8, but I haven't been willing to do it. It's too cool. (thumbs u
  8. You're right. My memory was off. I thought the Viltrumites didn't actually see Oliver in those issues. But I just checked and they did. Not sure if the character was ever named, but the "Black Viltrumite" did see Oliver and acknowledged Oliver as Nolan's son. I think he survived the battle too. (thumbs u
  9. i don't know yo. oliver did take the scourge virus and try to blast earth and kill all the viltrumites not too long ago……and got his arm ripped off by thragg. Yeah, odds would be slim. Plus, his character seemed to want forgiveness from Invincible after the scourge virus thing. But on the other hand, he does have a different perspective on human life, and he hasn't been a part of the recent storylines. Or, Thragg could have captured him and interrogated him? idk. It would be an interesting twist.
  10. So I was thinking..... If Thragg would have known about Oliver's planet, I've got to think he would have gone there sooner. What are the odds Oliver is now working with Thragg???
  11. YESS!!! MY Original point! Thank you!!! +1 It will be Aaron. For those of you saying he's not an important character, remember the TV show isn't exactly like the comic. So he could be more important in the show.
  12. Happy Thanksgiving guys! Don't forget to vote in the finals of the BOTB G.I. Joe cover. It's Robert Atkins vs. Robert Atkins now. Snake-Eyes vs. Firefly. Don't get me wrong, both are awesome; however, mine has "G.I. Joe" on the title and written by "Larry Hama" if you like both and need a tie breaker....
  13. Thanks!! (thumbs u The Best of the Best sketch cover competition is underway again, and this comic is up for best G.I. Joe sketch. If you guys are interested in voting and checking out the sketches here is the link: Best of the Best Sketches: G.I. Joe Edition
  14. This just arrived. G.I. Joe's Firefly by Robert Atkins Here's a picture of it in progress: And the slab that just arrived:
  15. I was looking back through the thread, and don't know how I missed this. That is really awesome!!! (thumbs u (thumbs u
  16. My Robert Atkins Firefly sketch cover just arrived back from CGC. It was submitted and fast tracked at NYCC. Came back a 9.8 too! (thumbs u
  17. Somewhere in the middle. It's not a reprint. New writer, new art, new comics. However, Snake-Eyes Declassified is a retelling of Larry Hama's story. So it begins with Snake-Eyes, Storm Shadow and Stalker serving together in the military and Storm Shadow jumps out of the helicopter to save Snake-Eyes (like in ARAH 26), Firefly and Zartan's roles are explained (like in Joe 84 and 126), Zartan kills Hard Master and Storm Shadow is blamed (Joe 27), Storm Shadow joins cobra, Stalker recruits Snake-Eyes to joe team, Snake-Eyes gets disfigured saving Scarlet in helicopter crash, etc..... (thumbs u
  18. One Joe series missing from your list is Snake-Eyes Declassified (2005 by Devils Due) It basically takes all of Larry Hama's stories about Snake-Eye's origin and puts it into one story in chronological order. It's all in the ARAH Marvel series; however, in the ARAH Marvel series it's spread out and not in order.
