  1. I remember you posted them. They are awesome!
  2. Here are some pictures of my new sketch cover by Robert Atkins. He started it at Baltimore Comic Con with pencils, but there was too much detail to finish. So he told me he'd finish it at NYCC.
  3. This thread needs a bump! I'm back in the club! (thumbs u
  4. I agree. Some very anti-climatic story arch's from Mr. Kirkman recently. I trust him tho and look forward to seeing where things go in both Invincible and tWD in the near future. I wonder if Invincible will see a 3 year fast forward jump next? That could be awesome. hm If he did it thought I'd want a recap issue to kind of broadly say what had happen during the fast forward. "During these years this this and this happened and now we are here." It'd be a great way to relaunch the series (again) for new readers. Yes... A Kirkman recap issue is always good fun! He has done that a couple times in Invincible (kinda). Invincible: A New Beginning Come on bro! Patrick +1 Put some spoilers on that please.

  6. Great issue to have a page from!! (thumbs u I will always consider the fight with his dad a key moment of the overall story. Very nice!
  7. Holy ! Holy ! is right! Which covers did you pick up? I'd love to see pics. (thumbs u
  8. I think ARAH is more synonymous with toys than war. It's more of a fun comic, rather than a serious tone. (thumbs u
  9. I haven't read it, but I've heard positive things about that run.
  10. He does a lot of sketch covers. His creator owned series is "The Living Corpse." Here is a link to his site: http://corpsecomic.com He's a local guy for me so I see him at all the cons I go too. Very cool guy. He usually does sketches of people as zombies at cons.
  11. That was a really cool cover! Congrats!!! (thumbs u (thumbs u
  12. I think they're awesome, see... Bone 1 CGC SS 9.8 That Bone #1 CGC 9.8 SS is awesome! Congrats Joel Elad!!! (thumbs u (thumbs u How many Bone 1s have sketches on them? I never really looked at the census for Bone #1 before, and quite frankly I'm surprised there are so few SS copies. Only 9, soon to be 10 once Joel's 9.8 is added. Why are there so few? With there being so few, maybe they all belong to boardies? Mine is one of the CGC 8.5's. It has a Fone Bone and Ted the bug sketch. Does this become the best/most desirable Bone book now? I think it becomes the best/most desirable Bone book on these boards. You're on a CGC message board, so people here are really into and appreciate CGC 9.8's. To me though, the best/most desirable Bone book is still Thorn: Tales from the lantern. They are tough to find in any condition, let alone high grade.
  13. Snake-Eyes, Storm Shadow, Firefly, and Zartan were my favorite characters, so 21, and 24 - 27 were like gold to me. I was facinated with the whole Snake-Eyes & Storm Shadow stuff. I also really like #36, and read that issue a ton of times. The story with SE & Scarlet was really cool to me, and the ending had me convinced SE face looked the way McFarlane eventually made Spawns. I think the cover that got me the most excited to read the comic was issue #55.
