  1. Fantastic Four #52 leaving the atmosphere!!!
  2. Picked up another copy. Same grade and PQ. I'm off to chase for a 7.0+ OWW
  3. Scanner has been out of commission for a few weeks. Picked these up over the past 5-6 weeks... For my Famous Funnies - Frazetta Covers set...4.0's - 5.0's... I already had a copy in the same grade but I liked this copy better. The last of the books on my 2013 Want List...time to start a new list Already had another copy in 3.0 but this one was a good price for an undervalued book... May have to resub this one. Looks like a 9.6 to me...
  4. Or Hell... I kid, I kid...they're awesome books! I'm not a member of the Leifeld hater club.
  5. If you paid a 5.5 price...then love the book, not the number. Absolutely beautiful book....
  6. Unless they are 9.8's those are $2 books at best. I think if these books are listed as 9.4 or better, and the seller is credible with their grading, they would sell for $5 each. Especially 268. It just can't be a listing with VF-NM as a grade, or someone that posts "I am not a professional grader" as that tosses the excitement factor out the window. When I liquidated all my game used and autographed sports cards back in 2005, I put that in every auction. I facepalm myself. I hereby nominate this for Fingh's new custom title...
  7. Man, those are some "Strong" books!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  8. My 2 copies... ST110 by CARDNUTT, on Flickr ST110CGC45OW by CARDNUTT, on Flickr
  9. +1000 That and the Detective Comics cover and the Space Vixens cover that was in the coloring contest. Those pieces of art should be covers...
  10. Hell yes! I need the points! I have a sneaking suspicion that "I already have the books and need the points" will be the true driver to the poll results and not the fact that they should actually be in the set...
  11. I've been prepping some of my recent CGC evacuees for the upcoming VCC...I'm ready with the slabbed copies early so I thought I'd throw them up here and try and thin out the herd a bit. I'll be working on raws the rest of the week. Offering up a ton books, some rarely seen around these parts...Many of these are the only copies on the census. http://boards.collectors-society.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=6730420#Post6730420

  13. Yep, and I'd argue that the Martian Manhunter is a much more important character than both Batgirl and Mr. Freeze.
  14. I'd agree with the consensus, but since Tec #230 was brought up as well I thought I'd raise #225...
  15. Agreed. Check the OSPG and you'll see it's worth a lot more than Detective Comics 359. The only other book that comes colse to the Batman 121 would be Detective Comics 230, the first appearance of the Mad Hatter. SLR OK, what about Detective Comics #225?
  16. Most of us are Americans...when have you ever seen a vote that wasn't contested after the fact?
  17. I guess I'm just more of a purist. I'd much rather have the originals in the cover set than all of the reprints and variant re-tread covers... ORIGINAL REPRINT/RETREAD...
  18. Verry cool graphic, thanks for posting. It's amazing how Playstation just blew everyone out of the water...now, today, it's pretty even between the 3 systems. Good stuff
  19. I was one of the ones who made a passing comment that they should be dumped. I shared this via PM with fasterfriends...I don't have much appreciation for the postumous, re-colored, re-worked DS "tribute" covers. To me, it's like IDW reprinting a Famous Funnies #210 cover on a new book and calling it a Frank Frazetta cover...then adding it to the Frank Frazetta Covers set...that doesn't work for me. The IDW books are great, but if it were my choice I'd include both front and BACK cover books and leave the registry to originals only.
  20. Now THAT is a cool freaking cover!!!
  21. In all fairness, this should be changed to 2nd best Robot comic cover...no contest Startling Comics #49 by CARDNUTT, on Flickr /end poll
  22. Picked these up in a recent CLINK auction...
