  1. You do have to read MG (and MP) from the top. That's a requirement. Get used to time jumps in MG, too, they are used well, but you have to pay attention. I have two pieces of art from Joe. Click on the images to get some more details about the pieces. The first is Casey. He's making a series of posters and this is the one for her. The second is really fun. There's a Deluxe Hardcover of the first dozen issues. Each chapter is prefaced by a page blank except for Morning Glories at the bottom (increasing as the chapters build up). Anyway, Joe was doing a signing at my LCS and put a head sketch on each of those pages. Very cool. Nothing from the story yet though.
  2. MP is fascinating! Lots of fun to read. I like Nick's work, but it is really different. Another by a young artist (Joe Eisma) that I enjoy is Morning Glories. Story and are are excellent and the coloring really adds to the book, IMO. Joe's a good guy despite being from Dallas.
  3. I know how you feel... My own Superman by Swan My own Sgt. Rock Made me laugh!
  4. I think you art looks good on the screen, but some of it would look better on my wall.
  5. I think the credit goes to Steve Wyatt for helping Russ manage his time. I'm glad he's doing this. It helps Russ and I got two great pieces.
  6. Raboy is a favorite though I don't own anything by him. Anyway, I do own something new! I just got the Russ Heath recreation of Showcase 29 that I ordered. 3 months start to finish isn't bad and the work is excellent (again). Russ still has it at 84 years young! You can see it here or you can scroll down, but feel free to click the link or image and leave a comment.
  7. Nice Suicide Squad pieces. I always enjoy seeing them. As for me, I just got the Russ Heath recreation of Showcase 29 that I ordered. 3 months start to finish isn't bad and the work is excellent (again). Russ still has it at 84 years young! You can see it here or you can scroll down, but feel free to click the link or image and leave a comment.
  8. By the way, I'm crushed, crushed! I tell you, that no one commented on my wonderful Christmas present above. My ego needs the feed.
  9. I had a very Merry Christmas and look at what I got thanks to my wife with an assist from Russ Heath and Steve Wyatt. You have to check it out - it has a three-headed, fire breathing, sea horse! http://cafurl.com/?i=19213 For those that don't like to click (shame on you), here's the image:

  11. Yes, linking to the block from the CAF is a good idea and easy. Chris, If you paste this in your description, you'll get a working link: Neil Gaiman's blog featuring this image you can change the text "Neil Gaiman's blog featuring this image" to whatever is appropriate.
  12. If you click the image in the blog, it takes you to the CAF.
  13. Interesting. Hard to believe that out of all those people none would leave a comment. Can you comment if you aren't a CAF member?
  14. Thanks for both comments. I must admit that as nice as the art is being married to Kathy is better.
  15. Yesterday (Tuesday) was my thirtieth wedding anniversary and Kathy gave me yet another wonderful gift (as if her marrying me wasn't enough). This is the rejected cover for Sword of Sorcery #1 (Amethyst) by Aaron Lopresti. DC decided that the characters on the covers of the new books should be leaping out to the audience, but they didn't make that decision until this was finished. I think this piece is a better composition. There's a bit more to the story so give the link a click and check it out.
