  1. Super 8! Just wanted to remind you, when I post these listings, I am in no way an advocate, promoter, or making a positive connotation to these prices. I am merely a collector that has been accumulating sealed VHS tapes for years. Allot of other folks have in this thread have astutely pointed out all the archival negative implications and dynamics etc. but there is something about rebooting and going back to somewhere you ache to go. These original preserved sealed VHS items are as close as I am going to get. They were a big deal for me personally in the 80s.
  2. @Spider-Variant Thanks for the heads up on this place! Some amazing content in here as I have catching up to do. Have to pull my OO ASM from the 70s to revisit. This time period was definitely my favorite for ASM and the art work indeed was a big piece of this.
  3. NEW LISTINGVHS Empire Strikes Back IGS 9.0 - 9.0 Mint 1984 Red Label No UPC White CBS Fox Brand New $15,999.99 Mar-3 06:19 or Best Offer Here is one you don't see too often. I believe this is the very first VHS version of ESB.
  4. Too late on this one but I am putting together a slabbed BATs run in 9.8 and can't believe what happened to #313 (1st Tim Fox): 2021 High $2163 / Low $1799 2020 $75 2019 $65 2018 $158
  5. But what was the context of those transactions? I was bidding on some of your auctions years ago on eBay before I even knew you were on the boards and I don't think I've ever seen a BIN from you. Always auction style starting at a dollar and on some big slabs which is very admirable and a buyer friendly approach on your part. Prospect sees your listing, gets excited, and can win it in a week or so as opposed to you holding onto the book for two years with some stratospheric unrealistic BIN price.
  6. Nice. Timing is everything. Good time to be a seller right now.
  7. I would venture to guess you found out about the grade before you received the slab/opened the CGC box. That must have been a great day for you when you received the news.

  14. I'll have to pull some Iron Man out and take a look at that to compare! I found 70s early 80s to be my favorite ASM issues but I have not read allot of them in decades now.
  15. I think at that point in time, it sold on CL for $150K. There was a recent 9.8 that sold for nearly $90K. The current census is showing a population of one 9.9.
