This one I did scan back in 2005, just got it redone (much larger than I post them here, so as to not clog up page widths.) Hey, only 13 years before it made it back to a scanner bed...

Look at how the prisoners head size is exaggerated into a caricature. Plus black and orange get you ready for that last day in October. My favorite Jack Cole cover. A masterpiece.

Yep, one of my favorite PCH Everett covers hands down!

Agreed. Now I'm hungry again. Anyone on here ever eat one of their comics? Brittle incomplete low grades with slight resto are pretty good with a little hot sauce, mayo and lettuce on a sub roll. Or sprinkle confetti chips over pizza. What? Did it just too weird? ?

Everyone's got their likes and dislikes. George Suarez, who authored the "Tales too Terrible to Tell" PCH reprints by NEC, commented in them how much he preferred wordless PCH covers as compared to wordy word balloons. I love them both ways!

I can see that point totally and I love those TTTTT books. I'm always recommending them. And that's how a collector should collect. Collect both. ?

Cool book! I know some PCH guys don't care for the side vignettes on a lot of these Atlas books. I happen to love them! I think they add a bit of charm to these covers. "The Corpse Comes Back", "The Terrible Trophy", I mean, come on! These are great! :cloud9: :luhv:

I've bought Atlas horror books because of some of those little teaser panels. Some little gems there.

My first book I bought from the boards was a Swamp Thing 1 from Roy.

Bernie signed the bottom of the opening splash page the last time I saw him.

Sorry to get off topic..back to all these wonderful books Jimbo! That FF 12 is a classic.
