What is this #comicsgate happening on twitter, a friend mentioned it to me this AM. Someone being harassed by Marvel and DC writers at Baltimore Comic Con?

I should have clarified, I went with a friend who hadn't seen it and asked me to go. I could have been a heel and said no it stinks, but they offered to pay for the ticket and food so why not.

Gal was awesome but the overall movie was ok. I wouldn't go back to see this again in the theatre. I thought GOTG 2 was mediocre and still saw it twice. I just didn't get the same feeling to want to see it again. My partner loves WW but said they lost interest halfway through the movie. The intro with all the DC characters was great, why DC can't make really good movies on par with Marvel is perplexing; they have access to all their characters! The final battle scene and villain were blah, visually, the villain was laughable.

Yea, they did make him look older. 90 is the new 70.

Yes he's in the vehicle with the black lady that almost gets swamped by the goo. Wouldn't doubt if he shows up in Vol 3 and Infinity War.

I had high hopes for the movie, especially since I think GOTG is the best Marvel movie, but this was very underwhelming and lame. It started out promising with the flashback and great song but after that it went downhill fast. I don't want to be a debbie downer but here's my take on some of it. I'm sure I'll remember other stuff laters.

You do a pretty good job of distracting from the original theme of this thread. Especially when Marvel is stating that diversity was their intent and it's affecting their bottom line. Marvel was poo poo before and they've sunk even lower now thinking they could jump on the social justice wimp bandwagon.

Those Marvel insufficiently_thoughtful_persons are in a bubble and forget that picking a side in the social justice wimpy saga will alienate half your clientele. Never pick a side if you want to make money, you're in the business to make money not statements.

How long was the governor on? Season and a half? Will Neygun last that long or just the second half of this season? Interesting to see where they go after this, they are almost caught up to the comic book, it will be a lot more interesting with a totally new direction. Oh dang, forgot about the ski walkers. Maybe season 8 will start a whole new direction.

I thought it was pronounced Neagan, not NEEgan.

You'd think that after years of living in the ZA and knowing since season one that you can cover yourself with guts and they won't bother you that you'd just walk around like that ALL the time. A lot more people would be alive since the walkers still manage to sneak up out of the blue whenever they're in the woods.

Amazing how fast these ninja walkers can pop up everywhere and surround everyone after just entering through one entrance!

How long will it take for The Wolves to be dispatched? 30 minutes of the first episode or 2 episodes? Anybody remember how long it took to take care of Terminus, they were very organized and they were taken care of pretty quick if I remember correctly.

Just finished watching the episode. All my points are as I was watching the episode. Episode: Conquer - Previously on the Walking Dead, why didn't Maggie mention to anyone about what Gabriel said to the head lady? - Morgan YAY!!!!!!! Please dont die! - Morgan isn't scared of you punk, he's been through too much already. He's already killed you 10 times in his head. - That's the Morgan we all love!!! - Lucille moment with Morgan and his stick? - Hopefully Daryl isnt trying to sneak up on anyone with that loud @ss motorcycle. - Rick is probably laughing because he cant believe he fell for some chick he barely met a couple of days ago and then wanted to kill her husband and then take over the community. - Intervention time for Rick. - Children like to look at the flowers not hear stories, way to go Carol. - Rick WTF dude?? Wow...he's gone past Shane and is off the planet. - Once again Maggie, why havent you mentioned anything about Gabriel??? Maggie, quit trying to sound like you know what's best for their community. - DAVIDSON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! - Oh sunshine, you dont get both - Carol - Because Glenn said I love you to Maggie, one of them is going to die. - Why the hell is it so easy for everyone to climb over the fence??? Nice closing of the gate there Gabe. - How did Glenn sneak up on him, the woods arent that dense. - That tie is not working for Michonne. - Who was the voice that Rick was hearing in his head? - How was the gate left unattended? Was Gabriel supposed to keep an eye on it? The entire community is at the meeting or they're all outside the fence? - Wow, it was daylight and now it's super dark, Rick was just running from the gate, where did he run to? Its like really dark!! It must be a long run from the gate to the meeting. - Wow, so Rick was running for a loooooooong time! At least an hour or so. - So those zombies made it all that way to where Rick ran to? Not one person saw the zombies walk for about two hours, considering it took Rick running for about an hour and he barely caught up to them. - Why does Glenn care so much about Noahs death? He was worthless, he caused so much meaningless death and contributed nothing. - Come on Glenn, kill the guy, geez, you wimp. - Now Sasha shouldnt have a problem killing Gabe. Damnit Maggie! - So the community is talking about having them leave and Rick walks up with a zombie and Maggie walks in on Sasha about to shoot Gabe. Everything's normal, nothing to see here. - Rick you look just as bad as the last time when you went nuts. - Judith finally makes an appearance!!!! Finally everyone was able to be fit in to one episode. - Aww Tara is awake, no brain damage or long term effects I'm sure. - Rick, I might just have to kill all of you to save you. - So now that the Dr has killed the ladys husband its ok now to kill him and everyone will feel good about it, Rick will be able to get a hold of the lady parts now. - Morgan must be like.....Yea, I think I'm just going to keep on moving. Yea I remember she's jacked up, they could have shown Jessie's husband taking really good care of her so then people would be conflicted when he's getting his butt beat by Rick.

Alright, I just finished seeing the episode, instead of trying to remember the points to type out I typed them as I watching the episode. Episode: Try - I like Carol as the happy homemaker. I bet it reminds her of happier times, but then she remembers the times she was being beaten by her husband too, so mixed emotions for her I'm sure. - Seeing Judith on the baby monitor reminded me that she needs to die or should already be dead. She hasnt gottten her vaccinations so let her catch something simple and expire. The end. - That lady not bringing in the food from Carol was rude, but that's what you get for letting Rick and Co. into your community, a dead son. - The excuse of that other guy saying he wanted to stay to rescue the others is completely the opposite of what they're told to do, abandon anyone and save yourself. So the lady should have known he was lying about what happened. - Rick and Co. should leave and just create their own little society and not have to worry about anyone else. They'll be able to let whoever they want in, set their own rules, etc. - So Carol knows that Rick wants to bed Jessie and Jessie has been beaten up for years but no one cares enough to do anything to stop it until now. Probably because he's a doc. - Rick: Keep walking! - I think its just me but I like those Matthew McConaughey commericals. - OOOHH, a new Avengers trailer, nice! - We need more Rosita! - Uh, did anyone notice how Michonne was holding the pistol in the woods? No wonder she always uses the sword! Do not let her anywhere near a gun! - Gee Rick (we don't kill the living), so eager to kill someone right away, he's really horny. - What the hell is Carl doing out in the woods, still doesnt listen. He wants to play doctor. He also needs a haircut. - Wow Glenn finally found someone he can talk badass to. He's been tired of being the woman in the relationship. - That girl goes out all the time but no one knows, that place must be huge that she's not ever missed. - Best part of episode was the Sasha/Michonne/Rosita @ss kicking fest! Now we need a pillow fight in their pajamas! - Sasha needs an appointment at the VA for her PTSD, unfortuantely the VA will probably kill her before the zombies can. - Rick, put your viagra away buddy, leave it alone. - What the hell Rick, you're getting emotional now!!! He's reaching deep down to try to get in her pants! Can't blame him. - Rick is the new Shane. I liked Shane but don't like how this is playing out with Jessie. - So in parting, years before Rick and Co., everything was hunky dory in your little community, now everything is a complete disaster. Good going lady for letting them in. RICKTATORSHIP!!!!!!!!!!!! - No Abraham, Gabriel, the lesbian, Judith, and Maggie in this episode. I wonder if they're going to fit everyone in on the season finale.

Thank God for the deaths, hopefully that chick with the mullet guy dies too. Observations: Too many people in the cast, they left out Michonne, Daryl, Carl, Judith, and that PTSD chick from the episode. How did the Alexandria people survive this long, they all seem incompetent. They built a wall when the zombie apocalypse was in full swing but years later when there are less zombies they're almost helpless when they go outside, maybe complacency? Please, stop all dialogue from that mullet dude, he sounds ridiculous. When getting inside the warehouse and you see zombies holed up in a cage, kill them, they're right there and can't move, sloppy writing. Shoot ROTC boy and put him out of his misery instead of letting him be eaten to death. Sure let him be bait for the zombies but don't let him suffer. Noah, let that fool suffer. Abrahams rifle is the weapon to have, shot off around 6-7 magazines worth of ammo with one magazine. Why does that doctor have to be murdered because Carol thinks he could be an abuser? She tells that kid she's going to possibly kill him by tying him to a tree and now she's going to suggest to kill his dad. . Give him cookies, that will make him forget. Oh and fire that chick that's in charge of the kitchen, anyone can get in there to steal everything. Good going Gabriel, when Rick and Co first found him they took over his church, threatened to kill him, etc, before they even knew about what he had done to his congregation. At least we know what went through the area while they were in the fortress of solitude! I was hoping the dogs would have eaten them all and the show would continue on featuring the dogs and their survival during the walker apocalypse. It would have been cool to see the background on each dog to see how they got there, but nope, once again Rick and co. leave behind death and destruction wherever they go.

Oof.... Just saw the episode. Finally figured out that Rick and company are the problem. Everywhere they go they cause misery and death, they go to a new location and manage to easily take over/destroy the inhabitants way of life. Oh hi Gabriel, we saved you and now you owe us, we're going to take over your place, threaten you and belittle everything you stand for. The Prison, Woodbury, Terminus, Morgan's Fortress of Solitude, Gabriel's Church, and now this new Hospital location. Everything and everyone they come in contact with, When the zombie hits the fan you want to be in a place that you're familiar with, stay at the police dept from the first season, you had everything you needed, get back there and restart. I'm guessing they're probably like 5-10 miles from there?

Carol is tough as nails; falls in a van 20ft only to then get hit by a car. I'm sure she's only slightly bruised.
