  1. Not everyone agrees with the book, sometimes its good, sometimes it sucks. It just so happens to be sucking right now, hopefully it will get better.
  2. Finally saw the episode yesterday. It was good to see a little bonding between Daryl and Martinez, get a little bit of a background on them. They might possibly be in a position in the finale where they have to kill one another and this moment will make one of them hesitate. Did they ever fix the hole in the back of the prison where Tyrese and the others came through? It's pretty dumb that they only seem to be concerned about watching the front of the prison instead of setting up to be able to view all sides, there are watch towers, use them! There's plenty of walkers in the front, they provide a good first line defense to where you can concentrate on other areas. What I think will happen is that Guv will use the vulnerable area of the prison to get inside while some of his guys attack from the front. The Guv will get inside and take whoever's inside hostage include Judith. There will be some deaths, maybe even one beloved character; Rick and the group will be forced to leave/retreat from the prison. Judith will either be killed or taken by the Guv back to Woodbury, there's no way that Rick and the group can be out on the road with Judith, too much of a liablity for the show. I would like to see them with Judith, it would provide a great storyline with them trying to take care of her and all the dangers associated with that while on the run. Everyone getting frustrated with her crying and constant need of care that it would force some of the group to leave. But I dont think that will happen. Just a guess, probably 100% wrong.
  3. Wasn't that more the "year one" theme though? Obviously it's still relevant, but there's a definite thematic shift towards society building now. The majority of the characters now are experienced survivors - see how rarely people are getting killed by zombies (I can't remember which issue the last zombie death was in). Also no sure what you mean by "would do well" to - the series is more popular now than it's ever been! do well meaning would draw me back into it ...would love to see a society getting built already...less negan ..more rebuilding...more of a focus on life after the zombies..would love to see WD focus more on exploring the rest of the map?...more missions on discovering other (FRIENDLY) groups.. or maybe WD needs a more serious spin-off (thumbs u I've been wanting since forever to bring in some active duty military into the mix. Rick and his group and Negan can survive all this time and not one encounter with one single military member or unit, no Green Berets or SEALs? Yes, it's just a comic.... but that would bring in a good mix to the storyline. Some actual bad@sses who know what they're doing and know how to survive almost anything.
  4. Not without proper training. Remember though, everyone gets a head shot at a zombie (even if you're running) unless you happen to be shooting at a safe character.
  5. Yes there should be all sorts of suburbs and gated communities everywhere. As far as the "rednecks/southern" folks go; I'd say that the majority of people to survive would be the "rural" or "small town" folks who normally dont depend on other people (govt/city services) and probably have guns. City and suburban people would more than likely be gone first, no electricity or water and mass panic would set in, a bunch of sheep just waiting to be slaughtered, they'd start turning on each other.
  6. Was it Morgans wife that was killed in the store? It sure looked like her, I wasnt sure if it was Michonne or Carl who killed her. Or did Morgan actually shoot her in the first season, I dont remember. Nevermind, someone already gave me the answer, she's dead.
  7. My camera hand is steady. My trigger finger and breathing technique are steady.
  8. Did you guys miss this of Andrea on TV in a skimpy dress? Hold that camera still son! He only had one hand on the camera. Yup.
  9. Did you guys miss this of Andrea on TV in a skimpy dress? Hold that camera still son!
  10. How old is Carl? When the book first started he was 7. How much time has passed?

  12. I don't think AMC would ever show a baby being killed. Maybe an accidental death but you won't see the Governer shoot her. One way to deal with that is during an attack, either by the Guv or zombies; whoever is watching Judith has to leave her to help out and when they go back to check on the baby, she's gone. Maybe some blood stains left like with Lori.
  13. I think that's the one gate. The rest seems to be a mixture of chicken wire, sheet metal and barricaded walls. They should at least show something and that they have guards on them.
  14. Good episode. Is there any other way into Woodbury, are there any other entrances? They keep showing the same wall.
  15. That's a great question! It was facing the gate, drop the cargo and go. Only, I think they didn't do this to place emphasis on the driver. The driver is key. Who dun it? We all want to know. I can see the shocker of it being Andrea (although I KNOW it doens't make sense). Was the fence still stuck to the front of the truck? Maybe the truck stalled or the fence made the truck immobile once it stopped. It did seem to take a few long seconds for the door to drop open.
  16. I "read" the issue finally last night. I skimmed through most of the dialogue with Negan, too many curse words and too confusing. I find myself not following what's going on anymore, more of just flipping through the pages. The dumbest part in this issue was Negan letting Rick head butt him and doing nothing about it. Being almost happy about it like with Carl killing his men. Negan should have already killed Carl and should have killed Rick in this issue or cut off his other hand. It shows Negan that they both are a threat and aren't afraid of him, that's enough to let him know they need to be taken care of. What does it show Negans crew that he let Rick and Carl go, he rules by fear and he's not instilling that with his crew, only that he's weak.
  17. Listen everyone "THE GOV" knew the truck was going to go through the fence. READ THIS http://www.amctv.com/shows/the-walking-dead/episodes/season-3/home#episode-details-1021974 " Rick's group runs for cover as the Governor and his men attack. Gunfire erupts on both sides. A bread truck comes crashing through the prison gate and stops in the yard. The Governor smiles as the back door opens and walkers stream out. The Governor drives off as the survivors struggle with the dead. Well, I'm convinced. No, wait. I'm not. Explain how this summary proves in any way that he knew the van was coming? I'm not saying he didn't. It seems more likely that he did. But what you quoted does nothing to prove it. That's true, that quote itself does nothing to prove that point. Rereading it, he's just happy to see what's happening. He did have a bit of a Hannibal Smith "I love it when a plan comes together." look on his face though. The existence of the van, the timing of the attack, and the lack of any sort of surprise, shock, or reaction on the governor's face as it drives up does that without any plot summary needed. It's funny to see some of the alternative theories out there that are so far outside the realm of reason. I'm thinking it was an independent delivery company trying to take over the reins since the USPS, Fed Ex, USPS, & DHL are no longer available. The driver/girl was lost and ran into a crazy Glenn on the highway and Glenn assumed she was from Woodbury and started chasing her so she got lost trying to escape from him and ended up at the prison. She freaked out because of the shootout that she let her cargo of zombies out to distract everyone from trying to shoot at her. She forgot to get someone to sign for them. Yea I think it's going to come out of her next paycheck.

  19. It is one thing to take your time and line up a shot, another to be shooting while taking on hostile fire. You take the time to aim and line up your shot while someone else is shooting in your general direction you end up dead. I'm not sure why anyone is attacking their accuracy at all since they managed to put about 150 bullets into Axel and he was lying on the ground most of the time! It's a good thing none of those bullets went through him and hit Carol. Wasn't Maggie hiding behind a file cabinet for a bit? Those things are also very good bullet stoppers!
  20. I can understand the Guv making a "show of force" appearance but it doesnt make sense for them to leave when all hell brakes loose with the van-boozle. If you ever decide to go and do a show of force and circumstances change where you can actually take a few of them out, you take 'em out because they will be coming for you later on.
