  1. So the discussion can turn back to Adlard Bush? We did you a favor. I'd just settle for bush.
  2. Can all you Star Wars nerds make your own thread to discuss whatever you're discussing amongst yourselves to discuss elsewhere. Thaaaanks, that'd be great.....
  3. There's too many insinuations in here!!! I might have to stay away from TWD threads until next Monday.
  4. Yup, I liked the survival aspect and the different perspective that the Crossed gives to the comic but now it just seems that they're more interested in pushing the hardcore "mature" envelope further and further and it's really just making me want to stop reading it.
  5. I believe it was her. Though that thong has gotta be stinky! How often do they wash their clothes??
  6. No one's cutting off Rick's hand. It's not going to happen if Kirkman has anything to do with it. He's admitted it was a mistake that has limited and constrained him without benefit since he did it, and that he would not do it again if he had the chance. Which is why it was a great move.
  7. A few notes: - I was hoping they would show more interaction with the people in the Governors little village, I'd like to know what's making them tick, what's their background story, you'd figure Andrea or Michonne would be asking questions. It was nice seeing Andrea at the wall with that young girl, the best part was when she was trying to shoot the walker and kept missing. I told my wife she cant hit the walker with an arrow but Rick and Co can always get a head shot from about 25 - 50 feet away. - The walkers ignoring Michonne because of the guts on her? I thought it was shown earlier that the walkers had ignored her before when she had her walkers chained, figured she would have already had some clue about that. - Michonne in the woods against Merle and the others; it was good but didn't make sense, unless she has plans of staying in the area to try to rescue Andrea she should have high tailed it out of there instead of putting herself in danger since they werent going to try to find her for long. - I wonder if Hershel will let the others know that Rick is going , I think he might keep it to himself and keep a close eye on him.
  8. I think she's doing fine as well, keeping her character still sort of a mystery. On the other hand I dont like how they decided to let Rick go straight John Mcafee crazy instead of showing him gradually descend into madness.
  9. Yea that was ridiculous, nothing at all left over? Could it be that maybe other zombies came along and took pieces of her away, bones and all?
  10. If you go back to the end of last season, when Andrea is fleeing through the woods, she has the bag of weapons with her. She stops at one point to rummage through it for ammo. Sounds good. Did they show her carrying the bag when she was with Michonne for those 8 months? It was either with her, or she dropped it in the woods outside the farm. If she dropped it outside the farm, the Governor's men went and found it when Andrea gave them the exact location of the farm and he sent a group of men out to search the area. That ties up that loose end, I'm thinking she probably dropped it when she was trying to get away since it was probably slowing her down. Now to figure out what happened to Carol.

  12. How big is this prison? Big enough that Carol could be lost in there for a couple of days?
  13. That is pretty weak. You would imagine that they would have been a little more cautious with strangers by this time. Like I said before. They have NO idea what kind of people are alive and what they're capable of. They were in a safe haven for an extended period of time before this. They haven't been living in the "real" world for as long as these other survivors. In the end though, we can reason it all we want, but the fact remains that they let their guard down very easily and all died because of it. I agree with your last statement but to say they have NO idea what kind of people are out there is wacko. Like I said before, they would know more about what's going on because Martial Law would have been declared probably as soon as things started going to caca. They would have had tons of more insight on to what was going on than Rick or the governor. They had a friggin helicopter, you dont think they were flying around surveying the area?
  14. Yeah, that was way too easy. Not one of them even returned fire. They just stood there. Weak. I re-watched this a few time and as far as I could tell, as soon as the Governor fires his shot, it goes into slow motion. I think the whole shootout only took a few seconds, and considering the soldiers had their guard down it was all the time they needed. I think from first to last shot 2-3 seconds? The Governors guys had them locked in, they couldn't do anything. I'm not so sure about not being able to do anything. Overall, there was no perimeter. Guns down in a post-apocalyptic world? I don't think so. The Gov coming up on them like that dressed like Han Solo and all brought no suspicion? He could've been bit. I think the episode was a good one, but this scene portrayed the NG a little weak. The Governor had precise information about their pilot. What else were they suppose to do, say "we don't believe you"? These military guys just got out of a closed community. They have NO idea what kind of people are alive and what they're capable of. He got them to let their guard down so his men surrounding them could open fire. What's so hard to believe? The military guys would have more information about the situation than regular civilians like the governor and Rick, hell Rick and the rest have almost no information about what happened. It would have probably been easy to say that the post they were on was in communication with other posts so the flow of information would have been going both ways about what they were hearing or seeing. One thing about the military is that they have a chain of command and rules, which is why as soon as they saw the car driving up they would have automatically gotten into defensive positions. Plus the governors men were way too close, that would mean that they crawled into position possibly an hour before the governor even showed up, you cant tell me that the soliders would not have noticed them get that close. I can understand that I'm getting into too much detail but I'd like a little bit of common sense. Just a little. But you're assuming that these guys did know more than everyone else. How would the posts communicate, morse code perhaps? Radio or landline. Bases/Posts do have generators that run on gasoline and bases/posts do have their own fuel supplies. They also have command posts where all communications would go through, they have backup plans in case of emergencies. They're small cities that can be self-sustained for months/years if they ration the right way. Remember they did also have a helicopter, HMMWVs and Dueces, so they probably had tanks, etc. No amount of zombies would be able to slow down an M1. If the governor and Rick can be driving around all over Georgia with a seemingly endless supply of fuel and shooting zombies every chance they get with an endless supply of ammo you can bet any military post will have 3 to 4 times more supplies at their disposal.

  16. Also, the helicopter pilot alluded to a "post" which is what Army bases are called, he was also using his communication equipment, was he in contact with anyone? So it had to have been a base with probably hundreds of personnel, I'm sure there are dozens of soldiers still out there. Doubt they will continue this story arc further but it could be a pretty good storyline.
  17. Plus, she was never too fond of Lori. However it's done, I want Lori gone and quick.
  18. THE OFFICIAL TWD TV SHOW - NO SPOILERS ALLOWED THE OFFICIAL TWD TV SHOW - SPOILERS LEFT AND RIGHT THE OFFICIAL TWD TV SHOW - JUST FOR PHILLIP
  19. I just finished watching the episode last night, 3 days after it aired. What I dont do is come into a thread I know where the show will be discussed because there's a possibility of seeing a spoiler without the spoiler tag, therefore spoiling the episode that I dont want spoiled. Anyways, here's my thoughts. I'm sure they've been discussed already but I havent read the last 30 pages of this thread.
  20. Hell you could have different TV spinoffs; other people across the globe dealing with the breakdown or having tie-in crossovers.
  21. They did! The surprise ending is Rick & co getting to some massive fences and finding civilization is fine except for the quaranteened section they were shut in. That would be awesome, reminds me of that M. Knight movie The Village.
