  1. Star Wars #1 Ross Variant Cover SS CGC 9.8 signed by Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew and Kenny Baker $750 This book has not been pressed
  2. Star Wars #107 SS CGC 9.6 signed by Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew, Kenny Baker, Billy Dee Williams, Ian McDiarmid, and Jeremy Bulloch $750 While I am not completely sure, assume that this book was pressed by CCS
  3. Up for sale are the Star Wars Signature Series books appearing below. The usual rules apply. PMs and offers are welcome, but the first in this thread controls. I will indicate if any books have been pressed to my knowledge. Priority mail shipping for U.S. addresses is included. Insurance up to $50 is included; additional insurance is optional. International rates are available upon request. PayPal, money orders and checks are welcome. If you pay by money order or check and I don't know you or somebody that can vouch for you, I'll wait about 10 days after the money order or check has been deposited to make sure it clears.
  4. If you want the new label, I bet if you contact Brittany and pay the $5/book CGC will make it happen.
  5. The last Millar signing that I am aware of was in 2006. He signed some books more recently. There's a Kick Ass on eBay right now that was signed in 2013. It's NYComics' book. Maybe he recalls the details.
  6. Celebrity Authentics gets a lot of grief, but they were able to add Michael J. Fox to these books for me and get him to personalize them for my daughters. Plus, CA let me submit the books under my CGC account at no additional charge. My daughters are huge Back to the Future fans, and when I had the opportunity a few years ago to get autographs from Christopher Lloyd and Lea Thompson, I looked far and wide for Back to the Future comic books, and this was basically all there was out there. While it would have been nice to have been able to get one of the recent covers signed, still very happy with these!
  7. Imagine where this discussion would go if it had its own thread instead of being buried in a thread about TATs!
  8. You were fortunate. Imho, this last year has been the tightest CGC has ever been on Moderns - I do a ton of SS books where I crack out 9.8s and I've never experienced this many grade drops upon resubmission. I like tight grading as much as the next guy, but I feel they've moved the needle way too far in the other direction now. +1 I'm not as experienced as many around here based on volume, but I think the hardest hit recently is the 9.6/9.8 line. And that's also probably the one that hurts the bottom line the most, too. A 9.8 is allowed to have (I believe) at least 1 small flaw (i.e a crease), but when I look at my recent 9.6's, I don't see anything wrong with them. And grader's notes are also (typically) not given for 9.6 and above so that won't tell me the problem either. I had the same experience with a recent submission. Usually when a book I thought would be 9.8 comes back 9.6, I can figure out why, but this time I have one I've looked at several times and am just left shaking my head as to why it's not a 9.8.
  9. So for the most part (+1 day for FT modern and +4 days for FT value and economy), everything is supposed to be caught up except for regular moderns, which are still almost double the stated TAT.
  10. very cool, but not appropriate for this thread this thread is when you have the single highest graded CGC SS copy of the book (sometimes that means you have the only copy) Pretty sure it says one of a kind right there in the title. And "only" right there in his posting. Of course, I could be wrong. The first post in this thread, which established the "rules," is below. The general consensus has been that unique signatures ("the only copy signed by __________") or combination of signatures ("the only copy signed by __________, _________ and __________") do not qualify as "one of a kind" for purposes of this thread unless they are the THE highest graded SS copy (no ties).
  11. Way behind on my scanning, since I've had this for a while. There's a fair number of these out there, but how many of them say "Leia"? I may need to send this back to get that added to the label. Kudos to Kris (thecollector) for getting this done. (thumbs u
  12. He rarely does cons anymore. You have a better chance of getting the man's signature than meeting him. I've got enough of his sigs to last a lifetime (5?). What I don't have is a selfie of me and him together holding some very modern wolverine comics signed by herb trimpe and stan lee, preferably with him effectively using facial expressions to convey his confusion over why anyone would want him, trimpe, or stan to sign a 2015 Wolverine comic. I understand the feelings about Stan, since his only connection to Wolverine is that he created the Hulk, and without the Hulk there might not have been a Wolverine (although Hulk 180-182 all say "Stan Lee presents" at the top of the first page), but Trimpe and Romita helped design Wolverine, with Trimpe of course being the artist, so not sure why you think it's inappropriate for someone to want a Wolverine comic signed by Romita as a co-creator of the character.
  13. Just back from Star Wars Celebration. Kudos to Joel for getting this done for me.
  14. Current TAT on modern FT is now 25 business days. Pretty bad when FT is slower than the listed TAT for non-FT.
  15. not sure if it makes a difference, but I had it pressed by CCS first, and that took 2.5 months. Maybe they felt bad for me and put me on a 'faster (but still quite slow)' track. Nope. I'm in the same boat, and still waiting for grades on mine.
  16. Smooth transaction. Paid quickly and was a pleasure to deal with. Hope to sell to again.
  17. You're just a baby. I remember when the show was originally on. All the boys wanted to be just like Will Robinson.
  18. Maybe it's something to do with Safari or your flash player. All guests show up fine for me:
  19. Maybe it was your computer. I just used your link, and could see the names without having to scroll over the picture. Weird. When it first happened, I assumed it was in the middle of an update or other maintenance so I came back that night (or the next day...) and found it to be the same. I finished all the others over the course of a week and tried again, finding the same. Sometimes, the first line has names but not often. Here's what I see... What browser are you using? Here's what I see:
