  1. I've got the following books for sale: Link to Captain America #113 and Swamp Thing #1 Sales Thread Link to Batman #608 RRP Sales Thread
  2. Not to mention they have on-site grading scheduled for mid March. That will probably stick a fork in all production for the better part of two weeks. My understanding is that for MegaCon they shuttle books back and forth to Sarasota, so it's not like other shows where an encapsulation machine is completely out of commission while it's being shipped to and from the show.
  3. It's been a while since I've had a book to post in this thread, and the extended TATs made it take even longer. What's most frustrating about is that I actually had requested that the book be fast tracked, but it's a long story as to why that never happened.
  4. Chris Hemsworth There are only two 9.8's of the next one in the current census, and I have both. It sure would be nice to add some of the other characters. Are there any Natalie Portman SS books out there?
  5. Are you looking for sympathy from people who are still waiting to get their books back?
  6. Unlikely that McFarlane will agree for anything to be done for SS at that event. For the past couple of years, the only time he has signed for SS have been at private signings.
  7. It is not a conflict of interest. It is a source for the perception of a conflict of interest. Bingo! You hit the nail on the head.
  8. JJ took great offense, and several people backed him up. Nobody else called him out on it.
  9. Odd. When I pointed out the same rules to JJ when he posted his Miracleman #15, nobody seemed to care.
  10. Kudos to Rich Henn for getting these and a few other books done for me at Cincy.
  11. Has it been 17 days (2 1/2 weeks) or 17 business days (3 1/2 weeks)? Plus, 10/12 (and possibly 10/11) doesn't count as a business day since Fridays during major cons (NYCC in this case) don't count as a business day.
  12. Moderns are getting shipped within two weeks of the day they are "received" by CGC, and economies are getting shipped within a month.
  13. And just to prove that you really can get six signatures on this book and hold its grade. Kudos to Dan (Par2ch) for his tender loving care on this one.
  14. Kudos to Andrew (GACollectibles) for getting this done for me. Now if I can only add a few of the others. I'm debating about Stan, since he actually appears in this issue.
  15. Another awesome trade. Thanks Brian. (thumbs u
  16. In a FIFO system like CGC has the NYCC books shouldn't have caused any delays on something that close, unless they got a ton of walk-throughs or something. They may just not have updated the web information. I would call. Fast Tracks. So FT from a con last weekend would jump ahead of books that apparently had one day before they should be graded? No wonder things are so slow... Now you're starting to catch on. It's a vicious cycle that keeps repeating itself after each major con, and TATs for moderns and economies keep getting slower and slower because CGC does not want FT books to fall behind, so they always get priority. assuming there is separate grading and shipping queues, the Fast track once graded would also jump ahead in the shipping line too. And let's not forget about encapsulation.

  18. I had created a standalone thread (which now has been deleted) before I remembered about this one. I have some Anthony Castrillo cover recreations and other SS goodies for sale, including a Kelley Jones book (these don't come up for sale very often). Link to Sales Thread
  19. If you're lucky, you'll have them in hand before Thanksgiving. Where I really screwed up was in not fast tracking grading onsite in Chicago my WDs from San Diego. The show may be cancelled by the time I get them back. Even as awesome as I am, I doubt Balent would have pulled those for me and brought them to be onsited. I probably could have browbeaten Pierson, but I don't have enough Balent-whispering talent yet. Modern fast tracks from San Diego would have been in hand way before Chicago anyway.

  22. Last modern FT invoices: In 9/27, 9/27 Out 10/11, 10/12 Wizard Mid-Ohio was Friday, 9/28, and since CGC was accepting submissions there, 9/28 might not count as a "business day." If that is the case, the first invoice was out in 9 business days, and the other was out in 10, making both out on time. Even if 9/28 was not a business day for CGC, one invoice was still out on time, and the other was only one business day "late."
