  1. Up for sale are the sketches below graded under CGC's Signature Series label. The usual rules apply. PMs and offers are welcome, but the first :takeit: in this thread controls.

Priority mail shipping with signature confirmation for U.S. addresses is included. Insurance is optional. International rates are available upon request.

Check back often, as I will periodically be adding additional sketches to this sales thread.

PayPal, money orders and checks are welcome. If you pay by money order or check and I don't know you or somebody that can vouch for you, I'll wait about 10 days after the money order or check has been deposited to make sure it clears.

I didn’t read the part where all unsigned copies will be destroyed, which is the only thing that would make this ok.

That to me is key, and I would be surprised if McFarlane, Image, Diamond and the printer were not contractually obligated to destroy all unsigned copies.  If the only copies available are ones that a CGC rep witnessed being signed, it's hard to imagine a circumstance in which a counterfeit copy or a forged COA could make it through CGC undetected.  You don't even really need to worry about forged signatures, because all the available copies are already signed and witnessed.

It's a whole different matter if unsigned copies end up surfacing.

  3. Kudos to @Kevlar for making these two books, which are almost 15 years in the making (with almost 9 years since the last signature), possible.  Hard to believe that my older daughter, who is now 28, was barely a teenager when I started these, and my younger daughter, who is now 24, was in the single digits.  I probably should hold my tongue, but very irritated with Harrison Ford's pricing for this signing, as a book that had more than three signatures already was about 50% more than if he were the first one to sign the book.  What particularly rubs me the wrong way about this is that I submitted these two books as send-ins for Celebrity Authentics' first signing with Harrison Ford years ago, and he refused to sign any of the comics that were sent in.  At this point, unless I can somehow get George Lucas or James Earl Jones, I think these two are done being signed.  Very sad to think that five of the signers are no longer with us.

    Dear Fan,

Due to developments related to COVID-19 and in compliance with recommendations from Dallas County, FAN EXPO Dallas will be postponed until June 19-21, 2020.

All fans will have the following options:

    • Transfer tickets to FAN EXPO Dallas June 19 – 21 dates
    • Transfer tickets to FAN EXPO Dallas 2021 (May 14 – 16)
    • A full refund (excluding service fees - please allow up to 12 weeks)

Please indicate your preferences here by Friday March 27, 2020.

We know everyone will have lots of questions and we appreciate in advance your patience and understanding as we move through them all.

Our thoughts are with our entire community who have been impacted by this unprecedented challenge. Thank you for your continued loyalty.

    The FAN EXPO Dallas Team

Doesn't seem right that if you just want a refund instead of committing to an event for which you're unsure of the guest lineup that you get stuck with the service fees.

FED cancellation should be expected soon.  Dallas county (where FED is held) declared gatherings of 500 people are prohibited.  All the local school districts just extended Spring Break for another week.

For now the prohibition is only for a week.  They should still cancel, but it gives them a little bit of wiggle room to hold off.

Since they changed their format, once it hits QC, they list rejected books.

Also, they charged my account and the math works out as well.

Ah. I didn’t know that, thanks. Guess I haven’t done a prescreen in a while. I have one in now and will look for that when the hit QC.

And if you're really obsessive and check regularly, you might catch the prescreen results even before the submission gets to QC.
