  1. The finger bend stuff has been an issue lately and I believe @CGC Mike still wants to know about these kind of situations. If you have a moment, please PM him with a description of the issue, your transaction number, and probably the slab numbers affected.
  2. Assuming that OP is legit, under what circumstances would an experienced collector mistake an in-hand 1994 issue for one from 1968, particularly when he's already acquired thirty of the original?
  3. There's a common conspiracy theory that CGC has the time or inclination to do anything but put out 40,000 slabs a week.
  4. Just saw your PGM; did it fall or did you pull? 😀
  5. Round 2, book 3 says, "Pretty darn hard, much harder than the chip."
  6. If your priority is not having a slab chip, why risk it? If you're concerned about grade, then you'd have to consider the rest of the comic's condition. If this is the singular defect, then that extra 1/4" might affect something. If the comic is already low grade enough, then a slightly bigger gap will just become part of the low grade stew.
  7. That appearance means that the inside plastic is touching the outside case. If you have a suction cup, you can attach it to the area and mess around with the separation by pulling gently on the suction cup in different ways in different places. You may eventually end up with a patch you're happier with or you may get it to go away.
  8. Please post pics so we can find them! Befores would be easier 🥳
  9. I'm happy I've done ok on the books with the general defects. The complaint books in each round have done me in!
  10. Personal Enlightenment: Round 1: Spine Roll Round 2: Tanning Round 3: Foxing Round 4: ...
  11. Oh, there are several days to submit grades and many people don't submit until the end (which I assume is causing extra work for you or pressure)
  12. What was the reasoning for the generous grade submission window? Please 🥳
  13. Yeah, it shows up on all those 1977 ads; Ideal Toys, Spalding, whatever
  14. It seemed reasonable to adjust the info we do have, like postals, into assumptions about issues that don't have such info. It was a layman's observation, I'm definitely not a data scientist 🤷‍♂️ Sound good to me 🥳
  15. Be sure to post them to the "Hey buddy, can you spare a grade?" forum after following the guidelines there. You'll get responses!
  16. Is there a waiver that applies just to slabbing submissions, no extra services? Or maybe that's covered in the regular fine print?
  17. Maybe, but that seems less straightforward than using print run info?
  18. I believe that is the consensus. Good luck.
