  1. I would love to own a high grade Adv one day. The 5.5 is the best one I have so far...... early issues in high grade are almost extinct like dinosaurs.
  2. Come on, give me some more of the Shadow! And BTW, what is the cover of very first Shadow pulp ? I have never seen it. Got to admit though, those are great Uncanny Mystery and Marvel tale pulps.
  3. Just arrived back. Building up on these Adventures is a mission but I love this mission
  4. exactamundo! Yea yea... but Fanboy would most likely not buy either or! Since he doesn't know what is in the first issue of TEC. GA collectors would know that detail.
  5. Alright! Here we go again! I still would go with the Detective! In Blue, its almost impossible to find.
  6. come on............................... no more ????
  7. True, just getting one issue is like a mission here. But then again early Tecs are reaching that point of difficulty too.
  8. Great stuff! You have all his pre-hero work in Adventure ?
  9. 9.0 is unbelievable for an early Adventure. Next year sometime I want to start filling the holes (at least finish up all the issues in the 30s). Any leads anyone? And then after go into the Sandman issues.
  10. Yannis, based on your comment, I can only assume that you have not looked closely at the covers to New Adventure nos. 22-30. They represent Flessel at his finest. In particular nos. 26-29. Here's one example: Amazing enough, CGC in its early years, never mentioned Flessel as the cover artist, now he has taken center stage. And its about time!

Here's one example: Oh no, I did not make myself clear. I think the covers from 23-30 are fantastic. Flessel is great all around, but where on earth would I find any of those earlier ones between 1-2k? Especially in that kind of grade? I am happy enough to even own a few of them. Issue 26 has become one of the all time great covers, and very expensive.
  12. Great group shot Thanks, the two unslabbed ones will be back from CGC any day now!
  13. Ok I have to be the oddball here..... TEc 35 slightly..... by a hair.........
  14. Great stuff!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Why doesn't CGC do slabbings for pulps? They must be preserved.
  15. Come on lets see more of this Timely Vs. DC choice...................................
  16. Dont get me wrong though, Tec 31 is one of the all time great covers too! This is too difficult!
  17. Actually I'd want both. How about this comparison... or Tec 31 for me again. No real surprise there I'm sure "excuse me, do you have any Air Freshner" Now can anyone find me a cheap Low grade MM2? Love that cover......
  18. Great book Mike nice one, thread bumper! Very nice pick up!
  19. Actually I'd want both. How about this comparison... or A choice between two of the most awesome covers of all time??? Very hard decision. Maybe the MM 2 by a hair
  20. I love the Adventures and its hard for me NOT to pick a DC title. It must be a bias.... the 66
