  1. Right back atcha! Thanks, Joanna, glad you like them! Great transaction all around.
  2. I have as little to do with Paypal as possible. Using their shipping is just another donation to eBay... Just say NO! Besides, the guys at the PO need their jobs too... support your local economy!
  3. More Fun 53,,, one of the coolest Spectre covers there is, in EXTREMELY rare high grade vs. some common Silver Age trash? c'mon, no contest...
  4. without hesitation... Oh! and the Suspense #3, no contest!
  5. Fair enough! nike... Thanks for making this the first official GGA sale in the new thread! You are most welcome (thumbs u
  6. No worries, mate... It was a publishing experiment by Avon, mixing comics into the pulp. I highly recommend getting it. The pulp stories are a good read, and the comics are just awesome. Giunta's Crom the Barbarian is a direct homage to Conan.
  7. Pending my question... is that a pulp or a comic? Comic = heh... it's a pulp, with a full 32 page comic in it! Art by Joe Kubert and John Giunta.

  9. I'd take the Adventure, the TEC, and the first Riddler.
  10. Auction page bookmarked - thanks Scrooge! (thumbs u Ayup! Thanks, Scrooge!
  11. Ya'll are forgetting one. Olga Mesmer, The Girl With the X-Ray Eyes... First appearance in the August 1937 Spicy Mystery Stories pulp, in a comic strip ... that would be your first super-powered character in a comic strip, I believe.
  12. I'd take the Bats and the JIM... they're keepers... that Action would just be for flipping
  13. AA #16.... First Green Lantern, higher grade, more eye appeal... Given that I spent the same money to get them, I would flip the Supes, and keep the All-American.
  14. Major Kudos to Heroes Heaven for a sweet Wolverine slab, and a STACK of truly NICE Copper and Bronze freebies! Exceptional packaging, and VERY FAST shipping!
  15. That was WEIRD (Eerie Publications) v3#5... in its original incarnation... later reprinted in Horror Tales v4#4, and Tales From the Tomb v2#4 and #20...
  16. Man, this is the hardest match-up yet... I don't collect either character, both books are significantly important to their respective ages, and both are iconic, world-renowned covers... I guess, based on rarity alone, I would take the Action...
  17. Tim Thomerson, for the win! It's a 9.4 Denver... that helps
  18. Just means you're not a GGA collector To a GGA collector, that is what a Superman #1 is to a Superhero collector... one of the top ten most desirable covers.
  19. done...DONE.... you are just getting started missy! ...and what a GREAT start! Congratulations, Lauren!
  20. ... I passed the 1000 post mark without even noticing! Last time I looked, it was down in the low 900s... So KUDOS to all of my fellow boardies for making these boards interesting enough, and involving enough, for someone who was called Silent Josh in college to post 1000 times on a message board in under 7 months!
  21. OK... if I have to pick one... it's gotta be Fiction House, it's gotta be GGA, it's gotta be a war bond cover, it's gotta have torture...
