    There's enough info out there to learn to do it yourself, just takes the right equipment and a little practice/patience.

    I understand the visual aspect of it but to put it in pure technical terms, say if a tiny front cover spine tick is a 0.1 deduction, couldn’t 2 (or whatever) tiny back cover ticks be a 0.1 deduction for example? That's kinda what I was trying to get at.

    In terms of aesthetics, I find back cover defects less important than if the front was similarly affected. It got me thinking if there was a deduction difference between a front cover spine tick, crease, smudge etc. and the same defect on the back cover. 🤔
