    What are you guys' thoughts on the Mickey Mouse Four Colors? Are they undervalued? overlooked? underappreciated? hated? I understand the deserved reverence for Carl Barks but I mean it's Mickey Mouse, come on... I pick them up here and there for peanuts vs Duck books...

    I’ve rarely seen anything good in their auctions in terms of SA keys… if there are keys they’re usually very low grade. Most of their weekly auction is nudie covers from what I’ve seen 😂

    Well after 8 months of CCS hell, it took less than a week for 2 of my submissions to get graded… sounds right to me.

    From recent past experience, once the books are pressed they are prioritized in the grading queue once they get back to CGC.

    Especially his "NM-" books tend to get bid up a lot. I’ve bought a few that came back 9.8s. He was one of the best kept secrets on eBay until recently 😂

    Really wanted this but that price is like 2nd highest recorded in ANY grade on GPA… I know it’s rare and all but sheesh…

    Still better than 200k for a Marvel Family 1 😉 But in all seriousness, yeah I think there are like 30 some 9.8s on the census, there are surely more out in the wild but you don’t see 9.8 Shazam 28s all that often. But a nice 9.4 is still within reason for most people I think.

    Well I have no intention of selling in the next 20 some years. So basically I saw the book, it was within budget and I bought it. Couldn’t be happier. If I could have bought it for less 3 months from now, so be it.

    I gambled and bought a 3.0 a couple months back for a new GPA high, luckily the next sale topped it by 1000$. But yeah the Eternals zero-hype machine is very worrying short term. But long term, this book is gold!

    Yes that has been my experience as well! The TATs are somewhat concurrent rather than consecutive.

    Well the entire CCS process took exactly 6 months total then about 2 weeks at CGC before my books arrived. Same timeframe for 2 25 book subs. This Value sub is already at 6 months so I’m hoping it’ll fly thru from here…

    Value pressing update: Received CCS 4/17 CCS in process today! I have a feeling books are going to new facility post pressing cuz my last 2 moderns were graded in less than a week after CCS…

    This ComicLink auction was littered with so much junk that I just gave up looking through each page and couldn't care less any more... They should start being a little more selective with what they accept in their auctions... I'm sure I wasn't the only one. Maybe I missed out on some deals but the sheer volume of trash books really discouraged me from exploring/browsing.
