Bronze Age is where Herc shined! His return to Thor in #221

No Herc in Thor 127 and my 128 is a lowly 7.5 but my 129 is very nice and also the first appearance of Herc’s long time nemesis Ares, God of War.

Then his intro the world of mortals in the final 2 issues (at the time) of Journey into Mystery.

As the world’s foremost Hercules collector () it’s time to start his own appreciation thread. He has had many iterations throughout the centuries but his most enjoyable incarnation for me has been the Marvel one. So here is what I have managed to amass over the decades in chronological order (Silver age only).

CGC helped me out by taking so long! 

Same thing with a VF GL 59 I submitted back in early 2021, was a 2-300$ book at the time and has ballooned to near 1000$, thanks CGC 

Got this back last month from CGC, was sitting in an old label 9.0 OW slab for near 20 years. Decided to get greedy and play the CPR game for once. Very happy with the result.

So much negativity... it was fun, I loved it. 

TMNT Last Ronin signing moved to GEI today    Can’t wait to see what the crew did to my book!

Well Economy tier (pre 1975) just restarted grading and shipping, so if anything the glut of slabs will be in that age range. Modern slabs have been shipping quite regularly in the 2 month range for a while.

Greed took a hold of me and I decided to send my 1st gen old label 9.0 Journey Into Mystery Annual 1 to get the Walkthrough CCS treatment. I added the screening option which I've never used but was wondering, if it passes the screen does it mean it'll get a grade bump? It definitely needs a clean...

Anyway it was delivered today:

Did the same, only I went the way of old Carl Barks Donald Duck and Uncle Scrooge books, it’s totally reignited my collector spark. 

Had bought my 9.0 for a GPA record at the time (2008ish), think I did ok with it
