Has anyone had anything in the CCS Slow track move over to CGC recently?  Specifically I'm looking for anything initially received in June 2021 or later.  My sub, received 6/19/21, dropped off the 8-month window more than a month ago and I'm just curious if anyone else had movement.  It changed to "CCS in Process" on January 11 and then gone.  Just wondering/hoping others have had some movement to compare to.

My April 2021 Value went to CGC SFG on Monday. Only 8 more months to go… 😭😭😭😭😭

I think it is much ado about nothing, I shouldn't have posted probably. The values are still down but I see another missing value now with a "-" as 90 day avg, and it is my X-Men 1 (1.5 IIRC). so some books are missing values

do people not use gpa as much as I think they do? Or not know about the value feature? I'd never do a chart over time though. I just look at it and see how the # changes mostly, I never used it until pandemic and it has been neat watching..

If there are no sales in 90 days the value reverts to your buy price. You would have to input a value manually in that case. That’s what the force button is for.

Hi, what date did your book go from CCS pressing to Scheduled for Grading, if you happen to remember? Just curious because I have an Express @ SFG since March 4.

On 3/9 it was SFG in the AM and GEI that same afternoon. It shipped today. The whole process took 17 days.

  4. Maybe I’m in the minority but I’m really loving the Carl Barks Library collection. Collects a bunch of stuff and no filler that doesn’t interest me, just pure Barks. Not having as extensive a collection as you guys, I find the volumes very convenient and full of great info.

That's a good way to do it.  Tracking bids.

If I'm serious about a book, I normally don't bit until the end, so that wouldn't work for me.  I should do the tracking bid thing as you suggest

It's also a great way to keep track of closing bids as once you bid on something it'll be in your account forever.

As you hunt for the right copy to spend thousand of dollars on, what comic book flaws are most problematic? If it is a 7.0 grade then isn’t it the same as the next 7.0 grade? I’m certain the answer is “no”, but I need time to learn about such pros and cons. The below article was helpful. Curious if others care to comment about this issue. https://artfulinvestments.com/comic-book-grading/

It’s all personal preference, the same technical grade can have vastly varying degrees of eye appeal. For example a 7.0, would you prefer a big 1 inch visible crease vs an accumulation of tiny spine ticks? Or a barely visible stain on the back cover vs a tear on the inside?…
