So I was strolling through the local antique shop in my hometown of Calgary, Alberta and stumbled across this absolutely gorgeous copy of The Beatles from 1964.
The book is a Dell Giant square bound book with the obvious tell tale spine and staple protrusions. What do you think? And you won't believe what I paid for it!
For some unknown reason the bottom four picutres are out of rotation, sorry

9.4 IMHO with a little room to improve. It would be better to use a coloured back ground so that the white borders/eedges of the book are more visible. The printers crease will not effect the grade now or up to 9.8.

7.5 IMHO The overall structure of the book presents quite well. It would in my opinion benefit from a clean and press.

2.5 IMHO Great book!

8.0 IMHO Beautful presenting DD!

6.0 IMHO The whole of the book presents well however the flaws are obvious. Still a great book!

9.2 IMHO As it sits right now. Slight reverse spine curl, soft corners (I think it's just curled under LRFC/LLBC), some minor bends and dents. A clean and press will go a long way with this book to ensure you maximize the potential when getting it graded. Provided that bottom corner is just curled under and not blunted, I see a potential for a 9.8 in it's future!

8.0 IMHO The spine has some serious CB soine tics and the edges are a little rough in areas.

8.0 IMHO

6.5 IMHO As far as printer creases go according to CGC, these do not have effect on the grade up to 9.8 unless the crease(s) are obvopus and distracting to the overall eye appeal of the book.

7.5 IMHO This book would benefit slightly from a clean and press!

6.5 IMHO Really nice presenting book! I wish I would have hung on to mine when I bought it as a teenager!

8.5 IMHO Great looking copy. The finger bends break colour, minor colour breaking corner on the BRFC and s bit of colour loss on the UFRC. There may be some minor foxing happening on the back cover but not enough to detract from the overall appearance in my opinion.
Thanks for posting!

9.6 IMHO Back cover has two minor flaws that keep this book from grading higher as it sits. TLBC and ULBC exhibit some stress. A press might remove the imperfections provided they are not CB.
