  1. Always been fond of that book Me too - one of the mini-GA runs I've always wanted to own. Very cool book!
  2. I took Jive's advice and went with a HP L7780 All-in-one of ebay. The first one I ordered was terribly packed was basically DOA. Not Dead On Arrival, but rather Destroyed On Arrival. After a second try I got one that arrived mostly in one piece, except for a broken duplexer. I replaced the duplexer and finally got it set up and working today, wireless and everything. Here's my first scan:
  3. I did get some help from several people (including you of course) and traded some scans. It's mostly the issues in the 40's that I'm missing.
  4. I'm still working on it. I picked up the set of George Delacourt's bound copies of the whole JC run so I have all the issues now. I don't want to crack bindings by scanning the though, so I'm having to photograph the pages and fix them up in photoshop, correct for parallex, etc. But I'm about a third of the way through. It's actually 168 pages total, so it's pretty big project---I'm going to try and have it done before the movie next spring. If it's not too cost prohibitive, I'd like to make some print copies, but we'll see. Here's a sample.
  5. Thanks. It's actually the Western Publishing (Dell) file copy stamp. I've got the file copy for 3 of the 4 John Carter covers. I know some people don't care for the big stamps, but I love 'em.
  6. That's cool. I wonder what the thespian crowd makes of his sleezy pulp roots.
  7. So many great books in this thread. Here's some more JC of M.
  8. BZ, this takes my breath away! The fun thing about this issue is that in addition to having the cool cover art and the first appearance of Solomon Kane, it also has the first published work of a sixteen year-old Tennessee Williams. The story is fairly risque too, with orgies and whatnot.
  9. My copy is flush at the top and right but with slight overhang at the bottom edge. For this issue it is reasonable to expect slight overhang at either top or bottom. When the bottom overhang is folded out all the way is all of brundage's signature visible? Beautiful copy, btw!
