  1. A heads up on a sale in the PlayStation Store. Superhero Game Sale The banner add for it says up to 75% off for PlayStation Plus members and up to 50% off for non-members. Sale ends 7/28/2014.
  2. BioShock Sale for Xbox Gold members. I picked up BioShock and BioShock 2 on sale in the PlayStation Store quite a while back. Been waiting for BioShock Infinite to go on sale so I can have the trilogy together in one place. Sony has had it priced at $39.99 for a long time now. Just noticed that Xbox currently has them all on sale for Gold members at 75 percent off. I have an Xbox 360...but it's just the 4 GB version....so I thought I'd give everyone else a heads up. BioShock...............................$4.99 BioShock 2............................$4.99 BioShock Infinite...................$12.89 Burial at Sea - Episode 1......$10.04 Burial at Sea - Episode 2......$10.04 Clash in the Clouds...............$2.49 Columbia's Finest Pack.........$2.49
  3. One chart shows the wild fluctuation in game console prices over the years By Jacob Siegal When we try to justify the price we pay for a game console, we rarely think back past the last generation. At just $400, the PlayStation 4 is a steal compared to its $600 predecessor, yet Microsoft has received plenty of flak for launching the Xbox One at $500. What’s interesting is that when we step back just a few generations further, prices suddenly plummet to $300 or less. Several months ago, a Reddit user put together a chart which shows how much every home console would cost after the price has been adjusted for inflation. Surprisingly, even with nearly 40 years between today and the release of the Atari 2600, the PS4 and Xbox One are still two of the more expensive consoles ever to hit the market. Of course, they can’t compete with the ludicrously priced NeoGeo or 3DO, but our tolerance for expensive electronics has clearly grown over the past few decades. One of the most obvious explanations for our newfound willingness to put up with higher prices would be the enhanced functionality of the modern gaming console. The PS4, Xbox One and Wii U all are very capable Netflix machines, and the former two consoles have dozens of additional apps for watching sports, downloading movies and streaming live gameplay sessions to Twitch.
  4. is on my list of games to play I got the Journey Collectors Edition (with Journey, Flower, and flOw) on sale at Amazon a while back but haven't played it yet. Thanks for your impression of the game, MagnusX. I'll have to try and get to it pretty soon.

  8. Pretty sneaky of him. Next time you should tell them you'll send a link to a scan using the eBay contact system....that way they don't get your home email account and eBay would have a record of it. You can attach scans thru ebay messaging..... Do they limit the size? If someone was...for instance...wanting large scans so they can see the defects you are complaining about. Does eBay allow you to attach large scans through their messaging system? If they don't allow it....you could still send a link to a large scan through their system.

  10. To be honest, I don't really think there was a clear winner this year. Opinions seem to vary based on what type of games an individual is interested in. I'm more of a PS guy...although I do own a PS3 and an Xbox 360....but I think the game I was most intrigued about (other than games like the new Batman) was Inside for the Xbox One. There's always so much of the same (shooters, etc.), that different games like that always seem to pique my interest. And I think that poll was just something that one of the members on their forum started. It wasn't like an official Game Spot poll or anything. I also didn't watch the Nintendo footage, so I'm not really sure why some people are rating it so high.
  11. Doing a Yahoo search for "who won E3" and looking at the results...I didn't see an article favoring Microsoft. They either chose Sony or Nintendo as the winner. Having sad that....I have seen articles favoring Microsoft as coming out on top at E3 this year....but they are far from being the majority. Games Radar "Putting on my personal-preference hat, I’d say that Sony and Ubisoft absolutely smashed it. Of all the conferences, they were the most confident, balanced, and forward-looking. With real verve and swagger, they showed the titles that really made me sit up and pay attention-- Far Cry 4, Rainbow Six: Siege, Uncharted 4, Bloodborne, LBP3--the ones that made me truly excited for the next 12 months of gaming. " Game On "Who do you think won E3? We would give the vote to Sony but only just." Mistranslations for the Modern Gamer "Because of the strength of Nintendo’s roster, I’d put them above Microsoft. As for whether they managed to beat Sony, I’m not so sure. Both showed games that I feel obligated to play. In the end, however, I’m giving this year to Sony for one simple reason: the games they showed were more inventive than the rest. I saw more innovation on Sony’s side than either competitor and that speaks well for the future of the industry as we move forward." Poll on Game Spot Forum "Who won E3 2014? (POLL) (590 votes)" 1st place: Nintendo (38%) 2nd place: Sony (34%) 3rd place: Microsoft (22%)
  12. Awesome new video shows how much better GTA 5 will look on the PS4 vs. the PS3
  13. I'm beginning to wonder if any more games are actually going to be released this year or if they're all going to be pushed back. Now granted...I'd rather have a game delayed a bit to ensure it comes out polished and working properly. I'll get a new system eventually....but I'll likely wait until sometime next year.
  14. Seller owes you a refund of $28 ($24 on the first package and $4 on the second package, since he didn't ship them as specified). This is assuming the second package arrives to you safely. Is he charging for insurance that wasn't visible to the recipient? I know every time I get a USPS package from Sarasota, the label has an amount that is nowhere near what I paid. We don't know. The seller removed himself from the conversation. As It stands...the seller either owes money or an explanation.
  15. Agreed, I hereby state that SolarCadet is removed from the PL!! Oh wait, cant anyone do it or only special people? Anyone can update it. I am considering adding Ocean. You should start a poll. I don't know how. I do. And yet you haven't...are you scared or something? I'm worried about scaring others in here.

  19. Am I reading this wrong or did you mean "nomination"? No I mean addition. He was nominated and 72 hours elapsed without comment. Rule 3A reads "After a 72-hour waiting period, if the accused does not respond they will be placed on the PL." Ok...I understand what you meant now. He was added based on the 3 day rule and has now been removed based on his subsequent statement that you're taking at face value.

  21. I'm just wondering if that was the majority opinion then...then why does it seem to be different now? I wanted to know what the majority consensus actually is...so I started a poll. That seems to upset some people for some reason (not saying you are). But for those that are...relax. It's just a poll.
