  1. Just watched part of the E3 PlayStation presentation on my computer. I wanted to watch it on my TV....since it was supposed to be available on the PS3 to watch live.....but I could not find the stupid thing. I searched everywhere on my PS3 and all over PlayStation Home for it and couldn't find it.
  2. I believe so. From Wikipedia: As of 2012, Sony's PlayStation 2 is the best-selling video game console of all time. The PS2 has sold over 155 million units worldwide as of March 31, 2012

  5. Nobody is saying the buyer is being unreasonable yet.
  6. This is just one of a thousand reasons I walked away from eBay years ago. They practically force sellers to be at the mercy of jackhole buyers, no matter how unreasonable they're being. If the guy does leave you a neg...be sure to block him and then out him here so he can be added to the "list" of bad eBayers.
  7. Apologize that you missed the writing on the inside (if there actually is any...which you don't know) and politely explain to him that you don't do partial refunds but would be happy to offer him a full refund upon return of the book.
  8. Batman: Arkham Knight delayed to 2015, but features one badass Batmobile It’s a good news, bad news sort of day for Bat-fans. The Dark Knight’s next game, the open-world Batman: Arkham Knight for the PS4, Xbox One and PC, has been officially pushed out of 2014 and given a vague 2015 release date. Developer Rocksteady Games, who hit it out of the park with the prior two Arkham games, wants more time to get Arkham Knight up to speed. "Batman: Arkham Knight is totally awesome," producer Dax Ginn told reporters in May. "The thing about awesome, though, is awesome takes time." That would be the bad news. On the other hand, a new gameplay trailer released today shows off some of that awesome in the form of a Batmobile that transforms into a tank: If things get a little too hot, players can engage 'Battle Mode', outfitting the Batmobile with cannons, missiles, and non-lethal suppression rounds (pretty sure those missiles are lethal, though). The Batmobile's Battle Mode joins a growing list of interesting new features coming to Arkham Knight. Batman can eject himself out of the Batmobile and soar across Gotham, said to be five times bigger than the version in Arkham City. He’s got loads of new moves and gadgetry and even a new nemesis in the eponymous Arkham Knight, developed in conjunction with D.C. Comics specifically for the game. Though the Arkham Knight technically works alongside The Scarecrow, he commands a vast military force -- and as seen in the recently released gameplay trailer, is quite the match for the Caped Crusader. Gamers miffed that it’s been pushed back can take solace in the kid-friendly arms of Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham, which at the moment is still due out this fall.
  9. Arch fixed my post with the video in it...so there should no longer be a problem with that page. (thumbs u
  10. I sent a pm to Arch to see if he could fix my post with the video or just delete it. It's still giving me problems on the previous page.
  11. Here’s a massive list of every game confirmed for E3 2014 By Jacob Siegal May 30, 2014 With all the leaks, reveals, countdowns and announcements, it can be hard to keep track of the enormous list of games waiting to make their debut at E3. Last year was quieter than usual as Sony and Microsoft temporarily readjusted to focus on new hardware, but E3 2014 is all about the games. Microsoft, Sony and Nintendo not only have sizable install bases on the new generation consoles, they each have millions of fans waiting for a good reason to upgrade as well. Thankfully, the game developers came prepared. Latest News Explorer has put together a list of every game confirmed for E3 2014 so far, from every major developer that is making its way to the show in June. There are plenty of unannounced games that didn’t make the list, but we’ll have to wait until E3 to find out what surprises the developers have in store. 2K Games • Evolve (PC, PS4, Xbox One) • NBA 2K15 (PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One) • WWE 2K15 (TBA) Activision Blizzard • Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare (PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One) • Destiny (PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One) Bandai Namco • Lords of the Fallen (PC, PS4, Xbox One) Capcom • Deep Down (PS4) • Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate (3DS) Deep Silver • Metro: Redux (PC, PS4, Xbox One) Disney • Disney Infinity: 2.0 Edition (PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Wii U) • Fantasia: Music Evolved (Xbox 360, Xbox One) Electronic Arts • Battlefield: Hardline (PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One) • Dragon Age: Inquisition (PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One) • EA Sports UFC (PS4, Xbox One) • FIFA 15 (TBA) • Madden NFL 15 (PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One) • Mirror’s Edge 2 (PC, PS4, Xbox One) • NHL 15 (PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One) • Star Wars: Battlefront (PC, PS4, Xbox One) • The Sims 4 (PC) Konami • Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain (PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One) Microsoft • Killer Instinct (Xbox One) • Halo 5: Guardians (Xbox One) • Sunset Overdrive (Xbox One) Nintendo • Hyrule Warriors (Wii U) • The Legend of Zelda (Wii U) • Super Smash Bros. 12. This has probably already been posted before...but I'm not about to read through this whole thread to find out.
  13. Some additional information on this eBay shiller that board member Bio-Rupp first caught and alerted us to in this thread. At that point, his eBay I.D. and his Forum I.D. were the same....iwalktheline76....and his eBay shill account was identified by eBay's system then as....f***k. Since he was caught, he has changed all three of these in an attempt to conceal what was revealed in the earlier thread. * His main eBay account located here was just changed from iwalktheline76 to comicsbeyond. * His eBay shill account now shows up as _***a instead of f***k in the feedback he left for his main account...which indicates he changed it as well. * His forum name was also changed here from iwalktheline76 to IntoAnother.
  14. I have told Rupp via private message that I would accept his apology and would now like to offer him one in return. We had a bit of a heated exchange in this thread (which was scrubbed) and in a pm exchange afterwards, but I believe now we understand each other a little better. So, my apologies, Rupp. The scammers that really hack me off are the ones that come in here and throw it in our faces. Like bigboytoys coming back in a few days ago as if nothing had happened. And now iwalktheline76 blatantly changing his name after the thread about his shilling was closed. They have absolutely zero remorse. The only thing they're sorry about is the fact that they were caught. I look at some of these actions a little differently than others I suppose. Some people might just see a little shilling, but not think it's that big of a deal (Rupp never said this...I'm just speaking generally). So they shill a book up an extra $40 or $50? That's not that big of a deal, is it? Or is it? What if they do it 100 times....or 500 times? Do the math. That's a lot of money that could have been spent with legitimate sellers. And it ticks me off.
  15. Thanks for doing that, HarveySwick. Your efforts are apprecitated. (thumbs u It still would have been nice to be able to update that thread.
  16. It would have been nice to be able to update the "More ebay shilling by this seller - iwalktheline76" with this information....but since the originator of that thread had it locked....we can't. And you'll notice the shiller waited until the thread was locked to put through his request for a name change from "Iwalktheline76" to "IntoAnother".
  17. The reason I am buying a next ten console. I am hoping they will have an Arkham Knight bundle for the release so I can at least save a few bucks there. Right now I'm happily picking up great games for my PS3 for a fraction of what they sold for on release. However...I know I'm eventually going to get a PlayStation 4...and this game is probably going to make me want it sooner than I normally would. Would be even more tempting if they would also announce Red Dead Redemption 2 for the PS4.
  18. Whatever happens....let's just make sure he's not added to the Hall of Shame or the Probation List. Those are only for......they're only for.....actually, I don't know what the hell they're for anymore.
  19. Technically....it's there again. Was just my feeble attempt to keep the thread civil...but I didn't want anybody thinking my posts were panache-less.
  20. You were both wrong. And come on, Gene.....you can't rush onto the forum less than 20 minutes before the auction ends, get in a quick prediction, and then brag how you were only one bid increment off. That's just insulting to EVERYONE'S intelligence in here. Before that, you had stated....what? That it would sell for more than $100k and likely wouldn't hit a million??? I think I could write several predictions on a plastic sheet and wait until my dog takes a mess on one and he could be more accurate than that.
  21. I'm surprised more people haven't commented on this news yet. These were some huge complaints people had about the Xbox One that have finally been addressed.
  22. They finally caved. Microsoft to sell Kinect-less Xbox One for $399 -- the same price as the PS4 By Chris Morris Microsoft is reversing course on the Xbox One -- again. The company has announced it will begin selling a version of its next-generation console -- minus the somewhat controversial Kinect peripheral -- for $399 starting June 9. The move is the latest in a series of surprising decisions Microsoft has made since its initial introduction of the system, as it had previously described Kinect as an essential part of the new Xbox experience. The company is citing user feedback as the basis for the decision. (Translation: Few people like Kinect and virtually everyone feels the Xbox One is too expensive.) The move, Microsoft insists, will not result in a console that has fewer features than its predecessor. "You will also be able to access popular entertainment apps, such as Twitch, YouTube, and Netflix, as well as watch live TV and use OneGuide," said Phil Spencer in a blog post. "You will [also] continue to be able to use many of the unique features of Xbox One including the ability to get game invites while you watch TV, switch between games and entertainment apps, enjoy Twitch broadcasts, and upload your favorite gaming moments." The $499 Xbox One with Kinect will continue to be sold. Microsoft also said it plans to make a standalone Kinect sensor available for sale, should people who buy the less expensive console change their minds down the road. The price change instantly makes the Xbox One more competitive with Sony’s PlayStation 4. Sony's system has sold more than 7 million units since its launch, versus just 5 million Xbox Ones to date. Microsoft’s announcement comes well in advance of June’s massive E3 trade show, perhaps to let the inevitable chatter die down before it reveals its gaming lineup for the remainder of 2014 and 2015. While a cheaper Xbox One is great news for gamers, it's bound to annoy early adopters who were led to believe as recently as February that a Kinect-less Xbox One was simply not in the cards. Turns out it was, and you could have saved $100 had you just waited to buy one. In addition to the new console offering, the company is making some changes to its Xbox Live policies. Effective next month, people will no longer have to have an Xbox Live account to access entertainment options such as Netflix, Hulu, HBO Go or the NFL app. The company is also removing Internet Explorer, Skype and OneDrive from behind the pay wall. "We’ve heard that you want more choices from Xbox One," said Spencer. "You want a wide variety of options in your games and entertainment experiences and you also want options in your hardware selection."
