  1. Just start your own website. Put it on all comic related web sites. Put it all areas so you can make sure you get maximum exposure and act like you didn't do it on purpose.

Make a comic list put all the indy/image books at the top and proclaim a few sales. Set up a donation tab for paypal. Set up another tab so you can sell your comics on the site. Then move onto conventions and so on.

  2. I've read some comments about the art outpacing the quality of the story. Look, I'll admit that's a given when working with Mehdi. But I can assure you I'm doing all I can to pull the story up to that level.

Totally disagree. You are doing a fantastic job with the story.

    Keep rockin!

  3. Value on the Strain is going to reach its high I think within the next year.

Remember its only 3 books and after the 1st or 2nd season I think they are going to have difficulty achieving the same success. The 2nd and 3rd books aren't the strength of the show in my opinion its the 1st book.

I sold my No1s at $50-60 raw and I am happy with that. I hope it continues to rise, but after reading all 3 books the story doesn't sustain itself as well in book 2 and 3 I think.

Maybe the show will make changes that work better.

Interesting. The 1st book was my least favorite, 2 was by far my favorite which would be Season 3 according to interviews so far.

  4. I think Gillen needs some more editorial interference though, his arcs seem to be meandering right now. At least in my opinion.

I agree a bit, Gillen has a vast story to tell with litterly many fronts of the war to cover that he gives us small chunks of one character in the Pacific war, then back to the East front for a few issues and then back to what is going on in Britian. Its keeping me captivated for sure and I know Gillen will tie it all together but I wonder if Avatar will best be served having some Uber miniseries running in parallel to support the main title. I'm sure Gillen could keep 3 different artists busy with what he has planned.

But good to hear that interest in #0 might be coming back... this is still the best read every month for my money. Issue 17 will be out soon so I urge people to catch up, it has an intense and surprise filled ride thus far. (thumbs u

100% agree with your entire statement.

  5. Resolving to NEVER ship books again though. Man I hate the post office...glad people are getting their books though!

Print right from paypal transactions and then drop off direct at post office. Zero dealing with those goons, you don't even have to wait in line (thumbs u

  6. Sold a raw Uber #0 Sketch for $22

Is Uber finally selling across the board or is this hit and miss ?

What a mess they made of that book. I thought it was a great storyline and the art was better then average. I just kinda lost interest in it.

Yeah, I think we all (or least I ) got frustrated over the seemingly endless line of #1 first prints. I love the art and really liked the story. I'm up to issue 6 or 7 and I keep telling myself I need to get caught up and I think I will. The guys still reading it seem to love it.

Dude....get caught up, you will love it. Well worth the read.
