  1. How do we know that’s the case ? Meaning that the pressure that was put on resulted in the art surfacing ? We should hear the complete story.
  2. A quick reminder if anyone knows who won this a couple of weeks ago at comiclink, please let me know.
  3. I already regret that I am posting that question. I was just thinking out loud.
  4. Just a thought, could it be the mail man instead of him ? Just a thought and I am not taken any sides.
  5. Stream still doesn’t work overseas. Unfortunately. Would love to share this with a few collecting buddy’s.
  6. Wow. Ok, now I can follow. At least what this discussion is about. How come those magic card original art pieces fetch amounts like this. Even 750 k is major ! Thanks for explaining.
  7. Can this be discussed so everyone understands what you are posting here?!? I have no clue.... This is not to be taken as criticism or turn into a negative comment. I just have sincerely no idea.
  8. Is the buyer of this Sienkiewicz piece here ? It recently sold on clink and I hit the wrong button when bidding.
  9. Looking for this Batman All-Star Cover Issue 1 by John Romit JR.
  10. I doubt it. If the artist was originally not considered to be the main artist for the book and cover, then I think they are in general glad they can also contribute a cover, but as I said, I don’t think they will get more money for it. But all that is just my guess.
  11. It’s an awesome cover by deodato! I had it on my watch list. My comment about being confused was strictly regarding the price. I hope it’s all authentic and trust me when I say that i have also bid and bought stuff for prices way above what the market was. If you want to have it badly, you have to go all in and add a bit :-). So congrats ! it’s a beauty.
  12. Thoughts? I am confused as hell. The final bid is probably 3 times of what I would have guessed it to be. Cool for the seller. I am in no way jealous but it just does not make sense to me.
  13. It’s HAMmer time once again. For all you Ham lovers, here is a rare page from the very first Peter Porker - The Spectacular Spider-Ham book by Mark Armstrong with inks by Jose Albelo. Issue 1 page 16 Never been seen before. https://www.comicartfans.com/gallerypiece.asp?piece=1521031
  14. Isn’t part of the story missing? At least I don’t get the whole story. So was it shipped by accident to someone else ? Was the artwork kept by his family ?
