  1. Hi OtherEric. You should have a look at the Inducks website, which has masses of credit info. Off the top of my head, there are a few later stories written but not drawn by Barks in the Gladstone Uncle Scrooge series of the 1980s and 90s. "Go slowly sands of time" is one, and "Horsing about with history" is another. Inducks will give you the issue number for both. HTH
  2. Hi Ed - great stuff in 2016. And thank you for the chance to buy some undercopies. If you'd like, I can send you a list of books you need to upgrade next. My prediction is that you will knock four books off your remaining list in 2017. But I hope to be wrong when you find more of them. Happy New year to you!

  6. Well, it's Christmas morning here, and I just got back from walking the dogs. Given how warm it is already, and the weather forecast, here's an appropriate Christmas cover for today... Merry Christmas fellow boardies.
  7. Great stuff Harry. But hopefully Sue isn't really going to have to 'go on the game'.
  8. And here are the other two books that were in that package. Both really nice eye appeal midgrades - just the way I like them.
  9. I was thinking that these wouldn't quite sneak in through the post before Christmas, but they arrived today from Heritage. I've picked up a few books that came out of these 'six hole' bound volumes. This one was graded 4.0 by CGC - it's now released back into the wild. This #40 was listed by Heritage as a G/VG but I have no idea why. I'd Grade it as a solid 5.0, so I'll count that as a win! This #38 was a spur of the moment thing. The chip bugs me more than I thought it would. I'm planning on learning paper restoration skills in the future, so there might be an infill at some stage...
  10. I got my Christmas ducks in from Heritage today. No tree photo I'm afraid, but here are the books. I've picked up a few books that came out of these 'six hole' bound volumes. They are all nice books. This #40 was listed by Heritage as a G/VG but I have no idea why. It's much nicer than that, and I'm glad I took a chance on it. This #38 was a spur of the moment thing. The chip bugs me more than I thought it would, but I'll just file it under 'first world problem' and move on...
