  1. Just mentioned Nth metal from Thanagar in tonight's episode. Sounds like we might see another version of Hawkman/Hawkgirl from the Super-Verse. :wishluck:

I totally missed that one. But it was an episode with a few surprises.

    - The real Hank Henshaw is alive and now a cyborg.

    - Jeremiah Danvers is alive.

    - Supergirl mentions her cousin working with a vigilante who uses a bunch of gadgets.

    - The head of Cadmus is actually a Luthor (Lex's mother).

    - Alex now knows James is Guardian.

    - M'gann is not a green Martian: she is a white Martian trying to make up for her people.

    - Now we see J'onn's blood is tainted.

    - Hank Henshaw finds the Fortress of Solitude and uses Kara's blood to trick the system in revealing something called 'Project Medusa'.

    :ohnoez::ohnoez:

Half of that list had been revealed in previous episodes. There was plenty of surprises though.
  2. AMERICAN HORROR STORY And GREEN LANTERN Star Angela Bassett Joins Marvel's BLACK PANTHER

    Angela_Bassett.jpg

Marvel Studios may have put together their best cast yet for Ryan Coogler's (Creed) Black Panther, and that's a statement backed up by the latest addition to the highly anticipated 2018 release. That is Angela Bassett, an actress who many of you will remember for playing the villainous Amanda Waller in Green Lantern. She's also known for American Horror Story and What's Love Got to Do with It.

The latter landed Bassett an Academy Award nomination, but in Black Panther, she will play Ramonda, the mother of Chadwick Boseman's T'Challa. No additional details have been revealed, but after what happened to T'Chaka in Captain America: Civil War, this will probably be a pretty significant role.

This might be the best cast a marvel movie has ever had.

They've also added Forest Whitaker to the cast.
  3. Just when I was thinking about quitting this series, its really taken a turn for the better in the last 2 episodes. Huge thumbs up (thumbs u:applause:

Last night's episode was choke full of goodies.

I missed something though until I read a review afterwards.

The blonde that Teddy and the Man In Black found at the massacre site - she was the greeter earlier in the show that offered herself to William.

So with the Man In Black stating, "I thought Ford retired you" ...

    :ohnoez:

Yes, it appears that the dual time line is correct. It was confirmed for me when the Man in Black said this place reveals your true self to Teddy, like William had said to Dolores in the previous episode.
  4. Already at Ant-Man #'s. :applause:

Any-Man was a weaker film based on everything I have heard. If this one did not hit that then something would be majorly wrong.

Obviously it's no surprise that DS brought in Ant-Man #'s, but how quickly it did. Very low 2nd weekend drop compared to recent superhero films. Should be able to pass Winter Soldier at this rate.

DS is showing in less theaters than WS, so that could hurt it's $, but I actually think it's going to gain money from the fact that everyone wants to see it in 3-D or Imax because they've heard it's visually exciting. I have a feeling it'll end somewhere between Thor 2 & Cap WS which will be a huge success.

this is a safe bet. a little more optimistic would be between Cap WS and GOTG. looks like the current trajectory is very close to Cap WS. $240-250MM domestic, $460-475MM Int'l.

Will be around 185 dom & 400 Int by Sunday. There's another 15 - 20 between Argentina Nov 24th & Japan Jan 27th also. I can't see how it doesn't reach WS. Maybe if they pull it from China & South Korea after Moana comes out next week. Ant-Man only made it 3 weeks in China & still brought in 105+.

DS has 4 more weeks before Star Wars dominates theaters. I thought it would do better domestically than it has. Right now I'd say 230 - 240 Dom & around 500 Int. Definitely a success.

  5. Looks like someone may have been attempting to trick Ezra Miller to sign a Marvel comic book. Even going as far as trying to convince him Justice League belongs to Marvel.

Ezra Miller Refuses To Autograph Marvel Comic Book

A video has surfaced online showing Ezra Miller, the DCEU version of The Flash, refusing to sign a Marvel comic book.

"I can't sign that, right," Ezra Miller says. "Find me something else, I'll sign it. It's so obvious that I can't sign that."

The comic book in question happens to be a Marvel comic book for Agents of SHIELD, which is also a Marvel TV series. Marvel and DC Comics are considered the big two of the comic book world and are often the topic of conversation among fans regarding which is better.

"I'm sorry. I really [shakes head]," with Ezra Miller telling the fan,"No. It's DC. They are competing. I'm so sorry. I can't!"

When asked by the signature requestor if he was sure Justice League is not a Marvel comic series, the answer was fast.

"Yeah. I'm dead sure," Miller said unequivocally.

Ever since big money came into comics, such tricks arise.

    (:

Oh, wait. That's posting box office numbers that does this.

    lol
  6. Is it odd that I'm more attracted to Karen as Nebula than herself ???

    Why yes, it is.

    (Did you have to ask?)

:roflmao: Hey man, bald transhuman chicks have gotten a bad rap. :baiting:

Make "Bald Transhuman Chicks" Great Again!

LT Llia in Star Trek the Motion Picture was ahead of her time.

    :cloud9:

Tru dat. She was gorgeous. :cloud9:

  8. I really liked the ending but I have a question:

When DS started coming back in the time loop, how come both he and Dormammu were aware of the previous loops? Wouldn't their brains just reset to the original moment of the loop? I can almost see how DS would be aware of each loop because he held the infinity stone, but why was Dormammu aware of the time loop?

Dr Strange as the caster continues to experience time linearly, Dormammu is a 4th dimensional being so he exists outside time, so he would continue to remember the previous iterations of the exchange.

At least that's how i reasoned my way though the exchange.

DS was also able to pull others outside the loop like he did with Mordo & Wong, so I'm thinking it was DS intention to leave Dormammu outside the time loop. Otherwise there would have been no reason for Dormammu to give up & leave earth alone, because he wouldn't have even know that he was stuck in a time loop.
