  1. I'm sure he'll be happy with my comments.
  2. Exactly what happened to me. I put together a run of 1 to 100 as a teenager, and then started to lose interest as well at that point. The Savage Sword magazines from 1 to 50 also have a lot of nice stuff.
  3. Strobe sensitivity is no joke whatsoever to individuals who could become nauseous, faint, or, at worst, have a seizure due to flashing imagery. Luckily, I'm at the milder end of the spectrum, and Jimmers' avatar isn't too bad.
  4. Unavailable, fortunately. Easy to get to that level in Diablo. Just explore everywhere, fight everything, die a bit, and you'll quickly get lots of XP and levelled stuff to make it much easier very quickly. I'm waiting to get to level 60 to take it up a further difficulty, at which point I may be less cocky. More of a 'prove it' situation if you beat Ornstein and Smough, or another of From Software's nightmare bosses.
  5. ‘Your comic books used to sell in the hundreds of thousands, but now you’re lucky to sell out 10,000, and, uh, I was just wondering, does this mean the popularity of your material is waning?’ ‘Oh, no, no, no, no, no, not at all. I just think our appeal is becoming more selective.’
  6. Let's not pick on Rob Liefeld or Frank Robbins art. Again.
  7. Was he a vet? If not, he should've been. Natural talent there.
  8. Yup. I was just thinking of that myself. The Nigel Tufnel Guide to Grading.
  9. I found a dead insect inside a copy of Marvel Presents, one featuring the Guardians of the Galaxy. Sure there'd been some chewing as well. It was from a comic shop in Blackpool, so, being by the seaside, you might have expected it to be barnacles instead.
  10. Not a lot of people know that. Educational content on the boards.
  11. Act 3 , Level 54. Reaper of Souls Edition. I managed to beat Belial at Level 50, Expert mode. First play through as a Barbarian, so making it that difficult for myself wasn't clever.
  12. Sorry, I was on my Playstation playing Diablo 3. I can fold my ears back. A somewhat rare and cat-like trait, but you don't see them on the avatar because of that. It can make me look somewhat intense, quite the opposite of NamesJay there.
  13. It's a good one, but I'm a bit strobe-sensitive.
  14. This bit is why I gave the original post a like. Sounds more a comics fan to me.
  15. Just a comparison I made about how attitudes change.
  16. Very true. A good example of this is an issue of Wizard I read in the 90s, which, when discussing the Fourth World characters, sarcastically asked something along the lines of 'Does anyone still care about this bunch of losers?' As a Kirby fan, something I didn't like. But, how times change.
  17. Sounds about right, such as Emma Frost’s diamond skin.
  18. 3's a very sad story, 6 is another great choice, but the one, other than 24, which turned me into a Conan run collector of 1 to 100, is a very predictable pick; issue 4's 'Tower of the Elephant'.
  19. So, what was the outcome of this, Mike? Did TBG Voldemort him? Any interesting developments in issue 21?
  20. Coverless, but most in nice shape. 'A few I had in a birdcage or sadly were chewed by rodents. I'm not an experienced grader, and so I would conservatively estimate those to be in near nice condition, or nice minus.' Yup. Grading was a bit more generous in the olden days.
