  1. Chuckles or Gower? I do wish Chuckles would put his milkers away, and his cow tattoos, as well.
  2. Nice to see a GSXM 1 with a Dave Cockrum signature.
  3. Then there's the even more controversial flippers vs dealers.
  4. I found it quite frustrating to be a comics fan at that time, up here in t'North. I didn't have a reliable source of back issues until summer 77, pretty much clueless on how to get hold of them, until I saw an ad for Fantasy (or Comics?) Unlimited, the mail order company, in a British Marvel comic. Also, welcome to the boards !!
  5. Very interesting indeed. I’m surprised that I didn’t remember the Alice In Chains songs.
  6. For me, the most noticable track in Doom is 'Mouth for War' by Pantera. I didn't get that on my PC version! I’ve played versions of Doom with two different soundtracks. First one, an extra on the X-Box's Doom : Resurrection of Evil disc, is tinny, synthesised MIDI with what sounds like bit and pieces taken from classic metal songs. The only one I remember is the Pantera track. Doom on Playstation had completely different background music, with lots of creepy, ambient, classical stuff; like listening to a choir in a gothic cathedral. Very effective, much superior.

  8. Always nice to see a Starlin Hulk. One of my favourite interpretations of the character.
  9. My favourite song from this concert film. (thumbs u
  10. Figured out it was Circe from the first panel, but a tough one.
  11. I concur. But it's dated "March" That's a good point. Back in the olden days we would've had to have waited until then for it to be distributed over here in Britland. I remember it being ND, though, and easily available at comic marts much earlier.
  12. I wasn't paying attention to Starfire and Dr Light being in the corner of the panel, and was convinced that it was one of the earlier issues featuring the Freedom Fighters. Still, I did figure out that it was Crisis from the first panel, at least.
