  1. Let's keep this Par2ch love fest going with a few more that I got back:
  2. I forgot that was going on this weekend! I had a few books prepped and was just waiting for the "I'll be accepting submissions" announcement. Serves me right for not taking initiative!
  3. Here here! I got several books in right before I left for Mid Ohio and just got around to scanning them last night. HUGE kudos to Dan for taking such good care of my books for me. Every raw book I gave him came back a 9.8.
  4. You're very welcome, Chris! Yours will be hand-delivered, Fred. See you tomorrow! (thumbs u
  5. Huge Kudos to HOTFLIPS! for my mylites, fullbacks, and CGC flip-n-stick bags. My collection has never looked better!
  6. A couple books from the Dragon Con, both highest graded SS copies
  7. Two sets of TMNT-related kudos today. First off, kudos to oneasian (Raph) for selling me this beauty of a book. I already had a higher grade copy of the same print, but the coloring and sketch were too good to pass up. Thanks! Next is kudos for jonjesper (Jon) for surprising me with a book I've been actively looking for for far too long. Been drooling all weekend. Thanks Jon!
  8. My pleasure Joel! Least I could do for everything you've helped me with up to this point. (thumbs u
  9. Big kudos to Jeffreykli (Jeff) for a great overall transaction! Thanks!
  10. Do me a favor and wait to list it on ebay until after Sunday when my tribute book with a measly 3 sigs ends. Seriously though...fantastic book! I'll certainly bid on it!
  11. I think I'm overdue on a few kudos, but here it goes: Kudos to Desertwindcomics (Chandler & Sharon) for helping me get my picture with Stan. I'm hoping that after this weekend, I'll need to put up more kudos for getting my book signed. Kudos to thecollector (Kris) for really working the room at the Dallas Comic Con. He got me a J. Scott Campbell sketch, a small remark on a book, a new Green Goblin by Mitch Breitweiser, and cool Spidey sketch (even if it was personalized "to Kris's friend Adam" in big, black sharpie. ). You're awesome! Kudos to Par2ch (Danny) for putting together a great Zeck sketch opportunity and for being an all-around stand-up guy! Kudos to Chainnball (Brian) for helping me track down a few books that got lost in the mail with my recent move. The last one is located, it's just a matter of getting it into my hands. So much for fast-tracking, right? Plus, it sounds like I'll be owing you some super-Kudos (and my paycheck) for handling my books at the Big Apple show soon. Kudos to JonJesper (Jon) for putting up some irresistible books in a sales thread this weekend, including a TMNT book I've been looking for for a LOOONG time. You helped make my weekend! (thumbs u Kudos to BillytheKidd (Bill) for getting me a Joe Jusko Green Goblin sketch for my Goblin collection at the Pittsburgh show last weekend. Joe turned me down at the Planet Show in March and I've wanted one ever since! Thanks! Kudos to Joel Elad (Joel) for always being a pleasure to chat with and for getting me a mystery sketch from the show this weekend. I can't wait to see what it is, but you're awesome regardless. Kudos to MutantKeys (Danny) for finally bedding Jessica Alba. That's the dream that came true, right?
  12. Huge Kudos to Gwen Stacy for all her help this weekend getting books done at Dragon Con! I most certainly couldn't have gotten them all signed without her.
  13. Big Kudos to Chainnball (Brian) for great service in sending some Marvels Project blanks. Huge Kudos to thecollector (Kris) for getting me a few sigs and sketches at last weeks Dallas Con!
  14. Kudos to PokerKid for a seamless transaction! Thanks!
  15. Thanks for the compliments, guys! No, I didn't sub any of these myself, but I did recently crack the 3rd print for an Eastman sig. I thought I was going to get Laird too, but he was on the guest list erroneously at SDCC. Oh well! I'm hesitant to crack the 2nd print as it's 1 of 2 9.6's, both highest graded for that print. I'd hate to risk a grade drop. But I'm working on getting high-grade copies of all the prints. I've got readers of the 4th and 5th printings, I've got a 9.8 of the black and white PBBZ con exclusive, and a 9.8 of the FCBD version that came out this year. There was another exclusive given out during the Turtle Shell-abration in SDCC, so I at least need that one. I think there's also one that came out to promote the movie a couple years ago. What other ones are there? I also got this one on-sited at Philly. Not a #1, be a definite homage, not to mention the blankest label I've ever seen.
  16. Just to add to the love train for Danny, big ups to MUTANT KEYS my Sinnott Green Goblin. To put this in perspective: He agreed to do a small show after I pm'd him out of the blue He accepted a sketch request, which he generally doesn't do He replaced my blank (which was damaged in the mail) with one of his personal copies He supplied a reference since Mr. Sinnott didn't know who the Green Goblin was He hand-delivered the book to me at Philly The grade came in at a 9.8, just like you said it would. You really went above and beyond, buddy!
  17. HUGE KUDOS to CAMPUED1010 for helping me get my grail, TMNT #1 1st print. I had sent payment for the book just before Andre went to the hospital and not once was I worried about not getting the book. Between a few forum members here and a few PM's from his wife, I felt like I was in the loop and not forgotten. When he got better, not only did he send the book, he sent 3 extra TMNT slabs as freebies! Top notch!
