  1. I figured this group would appreciate this picture. It certainly dropped my jaw!
  2. Here are a few that I haven't posted yet. One of my biggest comic regrets is never meeting Mr. Turner in person. He is sorely missed.
  3. Anti-kudos revoked! Although, you will have a box of books to send my way in a couple of months. Maybe a sketch is in order? Got scans of the sketch?
  4. Kudos to Par2ch for getting a 9.8 Hero Initiative book to me quickly and safely... But anti-Kudos to you for not sketching on my shipping box. I'll retract these anti-Kudos when I get my sketch. but seriously, thanks for the book.
  5. Big Kudos to the whole CGC crew! I've never had the pleasure of taking part in onsite grading before, but they've really got it down to a science. They were working hard all weekend in Philly and for that, I applaud them.
  6. Right back at ya with the Kudos! I'll trade with you anytime! (thumbs u
  7. Kudos to LBJARM and COMICJUNKIE for immediate payment on some pretty sweet sketches!
  8. HUGE Kudos to Mr. Mylar for putting together a SICK Djurdjevic/Sinclair Green Goblin and finally allowing me to add it to my Goblin Army. I can tell you're going to be a real asset to the Signature-gettin' community. (thumbs u
  9. Big kudos to mschmidt. Everyone told me he grades his books very accurately and he did not disappoint. I'll be buying from him again!
  10. Huge Kudos to BGHKOYAMA for once again being a great guy to buy from. And a special thanks for the freebie!
  11. Bill and Dan, You're both officially on notice that you've made me jealous with your shipping box art. I hope I can get some art on my next box from you guys. Someone used the last box I got from Dan to squish a bug, but I'm not counting that...
  12. You did well on the 9.8/9.8. There was one that had an interior 9.8 (don't know the exterior grade) go on ebay earlier this year for around $500 or so. Well done!
  13. Is that the photo taken from ebay? It looks VERY familiar because I thought it looked funny. Some trick photography makes the book look very tiny relative to the hand, especially considering it's a magazine-sized book.
  14. Hey Craig! Just a heads up: Greg Pak and Peter Steigerwald with both be at WWPhilly. I don't know what defects the book has, but if you think it has a shot at a 9.6, it could be something to consider. (thumbs u
  15. THANK YOU!!! I didn't want to jump in and correct him as I can let most language butchering slide on message boards, but not when the guy is a repeat offender who's already trying to carry himself as superior to his fellow boardies. And I still can't be 100% sure, but was he going for cleaver when he wrote "clever"? Hilarious. Also, people seem to go back and forth on what the $1,100 book in this case is. If I'm not mistaken, it's Avengers 4, not Avengers 1.
  16. Again, huge kudos to BGHKOYAMA for another stellar transaction including fast shipping and freebies!
  17. Conner, No stake in this except for community solidarity, but... I'd highly recommend taking a breather before posting again. When you do, apologize publicly and right the wrongs with the people you've had bad dealings with. I'd suggest doing so before the mods wake up tomorrow and check this out. It's not 100% guaranteed yet, but it's very likely you'll at least get a suspension for your posts (if you don't get banned). Keep in mind that this board is a treasure trove of knowledge and an excellent resource for anyone in the hobby...and it's not a huge community. It would be a bad for your collection to sully your name so early in your collecting life. People don't soon forget things like this, but an apology would go a long way. Everyone has bad days/weeks/months. Cool down and make things right publicly and do so before the mods get to you. I don't think you're beyond redemption quite yet. (thumbs u
  18. +3 on the good looking 1.8. Is there a back cover defect we're not seeing that brings the grade down? I'd be proud to own that copy! (thumbs u
  19. Will you be doing any more Spider-man books, or should I start one myself?
  20. Yeah, the TPB's are pretty readily available. The hardcovers are too, but they're more limited. Only 500 made, I think. They're available through the Hero Initiative. -Adam
  21. Looking for a 9.8 Spidey to round out the set
