  1. about $275 in 9.8, $140 in 9.6, and $100 in 9.4 personally I think Noble Causes 3 gets overlooked too.
  2. check the white dot above the comics code logo...there is no doubt this is the same book.
  3. 3 things that prove it IMO URC, ULC, thumb crease on right edge to the right of "behold"
  4. IMO - if he thought the book got upgraded to 9.2 then why isn't the book in a holder? why leave money on the table if the point is capitalism? This thread would hold no water if the book were a CGC 9.2. I think the fact that he just cracked it out of an 8.5 holder and is selling it raw makes all of the difference in the world.
  5. $200 I thought it was a sale via PM, may have been lower? It was thru a PM..i'll have to look..think it was like $150 shipped. amazing - he's lucky no one decided to snag his "9.2"
  6. it was a pretty bone head move IMO - I mean how could he not get caught. it was his front page book and he JUST bought it from you. I think this is grounds for probation personally
  7. wow - what a shame! glad you called him out. this is the last thing we need on these boards.
  8. big KUDOS to Mlmeade and jonjesper for super fast shipping and awesome comics! thanks
  9. HUGE kudos goes to zzutak for the awesome oo batch of FF!! thanks Jay!
  10. Or more likey, $2000. Once the 9.9 is no longer unique, the value drops on a book like this. To put this label chasing price in perspective, there are other books from roughly the same era that would command a higher price in raw NM than New Mutants 98; including Bone#1, SDCC #2, TMNT #1, and Albedo #2. These books would also command a higher price in slabbed 9.8 than NM98, but what is the likelyhood that anyone would pay 12K for a 9.9? In the perverse world of high grade copper/modern books, the easier a book is to find in 9.8, the more valuable a 9.9 (or 10.0) becomes as long as it is the only one! Before folks get too wedded to the idea that Deadpool is the modern era's Wolverine - they might want to recall how popular DC's Lobo was around the time NM 98 came out. exactly (thumbs u
  11. big KUDOS to Eggsackley for the sweet Cherry's Howard is awesome!!

  15. whats the consensus on this for long term value? I just sold one of my (2) 9.8 copies for $225 BIN on the bay minutes ago ... for now I'm planning on keeping the other copy but I just can't imagine this is going to retain its value. do you guys think this will tank soon or continue to appreciate over time like WD1? someone should create a poll...
  16. i heard they were getting them in the west coast first...
