There was never going to be a perfect way to end this trilogy and the original Star Wars/Skywalker saga since every fan that grew up on SW has their own view/hope how it should end. I am still looking forward to seeing the film over the Christmas break with the kids to see how they wrap it up.

If you just add one to your order with other books the shipping is lower. That being said, these variants are an easy $40-$60 sale at shows. Selling them online after they have cooled off does not make sense since there are always sellers looking to dump them.

I am curious to see how Wade/Mirror Guy pops back into the story in the Season Finale. He took one of the Cavalry masks in his bunker if I am not mistaken. I hope they show a flashback to how that shootout went down.

That would be from impact damage (dropped on a corner?) rather than stacking. As long as you only stack the books flat 20 high on a shelf you should be fine.

The new slabs don't have those problems stacked flat based on how hard it is to actually crack one open. I would be curious to know if CGC tested them to see how much pressure it would take to actually crack one of them.

Agreed 100%. Right now there is an apparent race to the bottom/mediocrity being created in the primary and secondary education system. Everyone is special and needs to be rewarded in the same way to ensure they are not "damaged" during critical development years, despite the fact that this is not reality. We told our kids to always compete for grades, in athletics, etc. because that is how the world works regardless of what they are told at school. Now that they are teenagers they understand the points we were making and drive themselves to excel/achieve, which is all a parent can hope for.

These are the same people that made sure that little Jimmy and Susy get the same medal/trophy/ribbon at school athletic events for standing there and drawing a breath as the kids that actually participate and win the competition since they are "born athletes" despite the fact they spend hours practicing every day/week...........

It is way too low. I think that 5.0s should be closer to $10K, so the lowly 1.8/2.0 I have is at least a $2K book.

Is he really dead, though? If it was that simple, Veidt would have used a tachyon pulse to kill him in Karnak/Antarctic. He had the technology - he irradiated the amnesia device with tachyons. In any case, I hope they continue with more Watchmen story arcs/seasons after this one. It has been a fun ride so far.

It is a shame that this series is ending so fast - it has been great so far. The writers have done a wonderful job of weaving together the history of the Watchmen hero-verse with actual historical events (Tulsa massacre), as well as building in an interesting take on the futures of the remaining Watchmen.

Do any of the extra cast members really matter? All I want to see is Woody channeling his inner Mickey Knox (from Natural Born Killers) for the Cletus/Carnage role and all will be fine. He should bring the right level of campiness and craziness for the role.

There is definitely huge excitement for the film with the younger and female crowds. Hopefully it does great at the box office. The more successful films the more valuable our collections become.

The target audience is the same one that drove Suicide Squad’s box office success, and it is not male comics collectors...... My teenage daughter and her friends like this trailer, and that is part of the demographic market they are targeting. The vast majority of us on the boards are not part of it.
