  1. If you want some help deciding what to send in besides the keys (e.g. #194, 238, 252, 300, 361), check out sold listing prices in the latest ComicLink auctions or grab a GPAnalysis account.
  2. The current wave of new character concepts by the big 2 is fine with me. As Disney and WB/AT&T drive towards streaming their own content on subscription services, as well as movies and regular TV (live action and cartoon), they need to expand their offerings. Comics are a relatively cheap way to test market new ideas, build a fan following, and then capitalize on them via more profitable mediums. I also like the aspect of offering more incentive for creators to develop characters at Marvel or DC instead of the independents. That means we will likely see good characters sticking around for the long haul rather than just in minis or delayed then discontinued irregular ongoing series.........
  3. That will definitely press out. The only question you have to ask yourself is which books are worth pressing and grading. Most of the books in the post #150 ASM run are not worth grading unless they hit 9.8. Even then, it may not be worth it for most.
  4. I don't know what SS books normally fetch for a premium, but a 9.8 Stan Lee and McFarlane signed book would be a tougher one to get. If regular 9.8s are $2500 then $4k for the double signed copy is not too outrageous.
  5. Definitely. UXM #211is the first book I bought. I think I still have that copy tucked away someplace - the classic 25th anniversary border drew me to it as an 11yo and started my comic addiction. I think I bought all of the other 25th anniversary covers I could find after that since they looked so cool together.
  6. +1 Best post above. Just press them first and send them in.
  7. I just had the results posted from my latest group, and the grades on all of them came in at or higher than I was expecting except for one - it came back as a 9.6 instead of a 9.8 Thereare a couple of 9.8s that were a very pleasant surprise on books I had pegged as 9.4 going in, so I will take that drop to a 9.6 on the one book.
  8. Just got back from a short whirlwind 24 hour business trip to Toronto. This thread is now closed (sorry for not posting the summary). I will send out invoices tonight and tomorrow morning. Thanks for all of the purchases.
  9. Thanks. That is it for books for this thread. I will post a recap of what's left tonight and then close things off tomorrow. Cheers, Ryan
