I need to raise some cash in the near term to cover some more house renos. As a result, I will be posting a bunch of nice Copper and Modern keys and hot artist books over the next few days. As usual, trumps PMs I have not responded to. Shipping Policy: Shipping for slabbed comics starts at $20 in a small box with tracking and insurance in Canada and the continental USA. Overseas shipping will be charged at the postal rate. Note: Assume that all slabbed books have been pressed. Some I have done myself, others that I bought slabbed are likely pressed as well. Return Policy: Within 14 days of receipt for raw books. No return on slabbed books.

CGC has always been a little easy on this book - either that or the scans just amplify the wear because of the darker cover colors. I don't think it is the scans. The book looks like it had a reading bend with a few light creases running parallel along the spine (someone folded the cover over and behind the book when reading it way back when) that was pressed out. With all of the spine creasing and edge wear (check out the top right corner), plus the other spots where it appears that there are small creases/scuffs on the front cover (e.g. on and below Supes' cape) that do not appear to be slab scratches/scuffs, I am very surprised this hit 8.0. It has nice color and gloss, but way too much other damage on the front for me. I agree with you that CGC has always been looser with the grading on this book - it makes accurately graded slabbed copies that much more desireable IMHO.

Didn't SS win one last year?

Sold a couple of books to Dillon. He was a pleasure to deal with. Thanks for the smooth purchase!

Nice copy. Looks worse than an 8.0 to me, but still a beautiful book nonetheless.

Saw her on TV this past weekend in Kong Skull Island. Not the most impressive acting, but it was likely due to the story more than anything.

Yeah, but this film will need some other heroes in it to be successful. That is why doing this as a BW/Hawkeye/SHIELD vs. Winter Soldier film would have worked well. It is essentially a team flick that gives some of the back history on SHIELD as well as the other characters. You could also show how SHIELD was formed, and with Howard Stark involved show a young Tony growing up as well. That type of a story would be an easy $800M+ film.
