  1. Jus....jus......JUST GORGEOUS !! (Probably the best all round copy). Has superior PQ...not have the cream pages that it always has. . I think the 9.0 with OW pages and perfect centering is the best all round copy, but Rick's copy is definitely a gorgeous one as well.
  2. Who's bigger, you or Rick ? Rick appears to be in the photos I have seen on the boards so no go for Roy in taking it away from him.
  3. SC #24 is not in as high demand, but an 8.0 copy is very sweet! (thumbs u
  4. Yes, but it is only a lowly 5.0.
  5. Right now is as good a time as any..................
  6. Very nice 6.0 - and welcome to the club!
  7. Even some of the 1960-62 DCs seem to be more common in CR/OW than OW or better. Must have been the difference in paper stock that DC used vs. Marvel? My experience has always been that DC paper stock was better than Marvel from the same period, and that it's not really that hard to find OW-W and W early SA DCs. Interesting. I think my view is skewed a bit by the fact that I have seen way more SA Marvels locally in Alberta than DCs and in almost all cases the Marvels had white pages (thanks to the dry, relatively cooler air up here), while even the few DCs I bought and slabbed were CR/OW to OW.
  8. Yikes! Looks like another book you have to buy now or pay a lot more later.
  9. Looks like GL #7 is a hot book now as well. Not a bad price for a copy with a detached cover: http://cgi.ebay.com/GREEN-LANTERN-7-July-Aug-1961-DC-Comic_W0QQitemZ190327113299QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item2c50614653&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14
  10. You need an Atom movie to be announced for the collecting public to take notice.

  12. For a very reasonable price too.
  13. Based on my submission experience, CGC is stricter in grading with DCs than they are with Marvels. My guess is that it has more to do with the volume of Marvel books they receive relative to DCs.
  14. Good call. The pages on that 9.0 are OW.
  15. What was the PQ on the 9.0 copy Clink sold a couple of years back?
  16. Very nice! How long ago did you get it?
  17. That was the case at San Diego as well. I believe that Metropolis sold all 6 copies, but the highest priced copy they had was $575 if I recall correctly. The other copies that were there were overgraded and/or overpriced and they sat. I find it interesting that the market is fairly tight for even accurately graded VG copies right now. This book should not be that tough to find in that condition.
  18. First in line when Rick decides to sell it!
  19. And 55 including and above 5.0.........................
  20. I am not at Chicago, but congratulations again on your purchase. (thumbs u
