  1. Just got off the phone with CGC and this book graded out at a 9.2 Universal with CR-OW pages. The page quality is not as nice as I had hoped for, but I will take it for a hard to find in high grade 10 center! A big thanks to Ted at Superworld for digging up such a nice copy its not for sale is it? It might be..............for the right price!

  3. I used to be a completist, but after selling two collections and seeing how hard it is to move all non-key issues for a decent price I will never do it again. Now I am just focusing on key and high demand issues (e.g. Neal Adams Batmans) and buying multiples of them. At least this way if I need to sell them to raise cash quickly I can do it. If you want to complete a run, just buy the TPB/HC reprints to fill in the gaps.
  4. Thanks. I was not looking for any Silver at the show (hunting for high grade Adams batbooks/HOMs), but when I saw this copy I decided to go for it. I will be sending it to CGC asap to see what the final result is.
  5. Here is a nice 10 cent Green Lantern that I snagged last weekend at the Boston Show:
  6. Here is a nice copy of HOM #174 that I picked up from Superworld at the Boston con last week:
  7. My collection can be broken down into two distinct time periods: Before Marriage: ~5,000 books After 7 years of wedded bliss: now only ~2,000 books left and slowly decreasing as storage space demand in the house increases.
  8. I would say anywhere from 2-5%. I had a fellow collector flip a coverless copy of ASM #5 last year for me that fetched over $50.
