Same.  This wasn't great, but it was SO much fun.  Loved every minute.

Agreed.  Jon Favreau has the magic touch.  Starting with Iron man and now creating all these Starwars tv shows.

Hi Forrest.  It’s tough to value your collection without a complete list but you can easily get 90% of value for your keys and decent GA and the days of dealers buying quality collections cheap are history.  Anything amazing spider-man between 1 and 100 is easy to sell, BA x-men are on fire, turtles are an easy sell.  Don’t sell your collection short.
I recently sent a box of slabs and raws to mycomicshop and sold all but one in a month for my asking price.  Fees were low.  I did start a thread here
Also major dealers like bob storms will make strong offers and auction houses like heritage will do well on your better books

The  problem, as I see it, is most dealers are well stocked with books like Spiderman 150-320 so except for a few books like 239, 252 and 300 there isn't a lot of value to them. Same with X-Men after Bryne left.  You've got a lot of nice books and I can see it goingfor 100K or more to the right person but a lot of those less expensive books are worth more to collectors than dealers.  If I already have 50 copies of X-Men 176 and sell three a year, what is a 51st copy worth to me.

If this is given:
- the 562 books represented in your screenshots are all CGC graded
- the values you're showing are in line with a reasonable middle of the road reading of GPA (eg not cherry picking the top outlier sales from the past 6-12 months)

Not taking into account the ~700 raws and not knowing the list of what you have exactly, I'd probably open with an offer of around $120-125K if we ran your list of slabbed books and came up with an estimated market value close to the number you quoted. Would need the list of slabs and list of raws to go further into it than that.

Merry Christmas to me!  Last week my Kickstarter reward came in from Simon Bisley's sketchbook late last year.  I'm very happy with how it turned out.  I still think Bisley's Casey Jones is one of the best looks for the character.

Ive had a really good year this year with my EC collection! I 3 great EC covers.
Ive been wanting a copy of WSF 29 for awhile and the prices are starting to go crazy but I was able to grab a copy at a fair price. Now the cover is split and nearly hanging on but Ill take it.
I dont go after MAD books very often but when this copy came up I made an offer and it was accepted! But the funny thing is I just got another copy thats on its way, and its a big upgrade.
The SSS 6 I never thought Id be able to afford and I got one for a great price in the grade range. Great stories in this one!

I didn’t buy a lot this year nor went crazy on pricey books but was glad to pick these three up!
