You're saying you understand my threads?

    Hmmm.

I'll have to try harder then.

That there is a bona fide FF printing error. I had one years back when I collected Spidey misprints. One of the few books I ever found for pennies at a fair and sold for mega pounds. Well, about fifty quid as I recall. I'll hunt down the scan.

Here's an old favourite from the PE files, just to show that you're not alone Robot:

Happens to a lot of people famous or not. I remember reading a book on Dimaggio and how he was handled near the end, much the same.

Art Buchwald. Sad ending to pure talent, and the book "Fatal Subtraction" is a stunner.

Interesting. I know that based on the definition of the word variant they are variants because they deviate from the norm, but I personally don't like the term being applied. I suppose it's based on my own issues with the modern comic industry and the forced attempts to still make comics collectable by purposefully creating limited variant covers. To me once an item is recognized as being collectable then it has jumped the shark for all future production of said item.

Sorry, didn't mean to go on a rambling nonsensical side rant there... :preach:

Still some good info - time not wasted!

You made the right move selling those Wonder Bread as I did the same last week. PSA 9's and below are not really that hard with few exceptions. Wonder Bread population will explode as there are a lot of complete sets sold to the public that didn't come in packs of bread. When the markets settles they will realize its the stickers that are the ones to chase. (Especially from Star Wars series 1-4 and from Empire's 1st & 2 series)
I feel like there's no Baseball, Football & Basketball right now and the sports cards guys are moving in with panic buying.

Agree with assessment re: PSA 9's. They are the equivalent of CGC NM- 9.2's back in the day...

How did your Son know what comic book you wanted without knowing that you cannot afford it...I smell the "rat" of buyers remorse and worst excuse ever, and former buyer must have tracking the sale of your book....thanks for the info, and bringing back some "Sanity" to these comic book boards with your epic reappearance. Thank God for Fridays....

The main purpose for me to return again is to get you and others to BLOCK these oxygen-wasters and stop them from ruining YOUR auctions.

    This is personal for me.

You better do what the old wily Veterans of this Forum of 15 years or more ago used to do:

PM and phone each other to stop the traffic of hits/views.

    Now up OVER

1.5 THOUSAND views in less than 24 hours and counting!!!

I will submit your name to the Council:
