  1. What!?! The 1st appearance of the radio-active man is going down in value!?!
  2. Who is Burkey? And where is this tribute, I'd love to read it.
  3. Jim Lee left a touching tribute to Romita, the art director when he started at Marvel in 1987, on JRJR instagram page. Rest in Peace
  4. RIP Jazzy John - the greatest Spider-man artist and on the Mt. Rushmore of Marvel artists. My only SS slab is an ASM #50 you signed for me. I will treasure it forever.
  5. Don't give up on the conservation efforts, Eddie. I'm very happy with the work you did on my two comics.
  6. After reading those threads I'm actually shocked and amazed that he ended up with a thriving resto business with multiple employees and locations that lasted nearly 14 years before imploding.
  7. I agree with the previous comments re: his professed desire to focus solely on pressing. Who in their right mind would ever want to send their comics to this tire fire?
  8. If someone took my AF 15 and $3.2k in cash and didn't return either they would soon find me knocking on their door, even if I had to fly across the country to do it. And no one wants an angry Canadian knocking on their door.
  9. Restoration on a single comic can take several years?
  10. Sounds like he's heard from a lot of attorneys!
  11. That mold effect would look really cool on a slabbed Swamp Thing #1...
  12. I will guess this comic would receive a 1.8 from CGC. Still a great-looking comic, congrats!
  13. Shared ownership of a comic? Those boys were ahead of their time!
  14. The first page? I was far more fearful of sibling theft and wrote my first name right across the cover to protect my comics (I was 7 years old at the time). So if anyone finds any comics with "Sean" on the cover, they're mine.
  15. No villain was ever as awesome as Richie Rich's never to be forgotten nemesis, Dr. N-R-Gee! I mean, what possible weakness could you have with a light bulb as a head? And who could ever forget any of his legendary crimes, like the time he used his head as a fake lighthouse, luring ships filled with the Rich's riches to their doom! Badass with a capital B!
