Toys (if offered) will be priced shipped.Movies (if offered) will be $3 for unlimited amount. No overseas shipping at this time (Due to "mysterious" disappearances, especially with Canadian Customs) :(

You're a US seller and consider Canada "overseas shipping." Are you in Hawaii?

Starting this thread in the selfish hope that some comic seller's on these boards will opt-out of eBay's ridiculous Global Shipping Program, because I'm missing out on some of my most wanted books because of the program!

Unfortunately, since the pandemic began, an increasing number of US sellers on these CGC boards have completely opted out of selling to Canada. Period. :(

Not sure if anyone here still has DVD players, have a feeling this once-loved medium is going the way of cassette tapes and papyrus scrolls. But for those who do, have I got a deal(s) for you. Clearing out my collection - these aren't like new but the cases for the most part are still in great shape and all discs are scratch free. If there are any issues I don't want returns (I'm in Canada) but PM me and we will work something out. Shipping will be at cost (Media Mail in the US).

Just one lot for this thread: Hulk #300 - #314, and Hulk Annual #13. Included within is Bill Mantlo's epic 14-part Crossroads saga, a now-classic Hulk tale featuring some magnificent Mike Mignola (of Hellboy fame) covers. Bought these issues to read - and I did - so they aren't NM, but I would say the lot averages VF/NM with the exception of #312 which has a color-breaking crease on the bottom right corner and #310 and #313, bought from Worldwide Comics as NM- and both Don Rosa file copies with certs included.

(Backcover blurb from the TPB) Banished to the mysterious and dangerous Crossroads by Dr. Strange, the Hulk fights his way back from the edge of insanity; battles the U-Foes, the N'Garai, Klaatu, the Puffball Collective and more; fights along-side newfound friends like the Lady of Life in the City of Death; and comes face to face with three aspects of his own shattered psyche as Bruce Banner struggles to reassert control over his savage alter ego and come to terms with his haunted past!

Plus: The story of Banner's birth, and how his tragic childhood shaped the monster within, is revealed! And longtime INCREDIBLE HULK artist Sal Buscema wraps up his decade-long run! The Jade Giant is truly at the crossroads of his life!

Hulk Crossroads Lot - $95 $55 shipped (US or Canada)

Gerber Photo -Journal Guide to Comics Volumes 1 (A-J) and 2 (K-Z)

    • Published in 1990, Ernst and Mary Gerber's Photo-Journal Guide to Comic Books is still one of the most comprehensive and exhaustive forays into the history and art of comic books. Featuring over 20,000 cover images across two oversized volumes, The Photo-Journals document comic books published during the Golden Age (1938-45) and into the dawn of the Silver Age (mid-1950s), reproducing each cover in full-color, photographed from the best possible copies of each issue available. In addition, each series listing features supplemental information noting publication year, creators, scarcity guide, and more. No comic collector's reference library is complete without these massive, informative tomes.

Shipped (USA or Canada) - $110 USD

Here are the classic runs of fan-favorite and forgotten titles ― reproducing each cover in full-color, photographed from the best possible copies of each issue available.

So in putting together a list of comic titles/genres that nobody cares about are still reasonably priced and accessible for collector's on a budget I've got so far....

Photo Romance Covers (especially ones featuring blushing brides or happily married couples) (because that's believable, right?)

Funny Animals or Funny Kids having innocent fun

Photo Movie Covers (especially ones featuring goofy kids or happy families)

Photo TV Covers (unless they include guns or hot chicks possibly also with guns)

Marvel humour titles (and really anything humourous that does not involve Betty and Veronica)

Marvel C and D list heroes (Human Fly, Omega)

Most DC heroes invented after the Golden Age

    ....

Let me know if I'm missing anything, I'm anxious to get started on my next collecting adventure

I think war and western comics from any of the big three (Marvel/DC/Charlton) are still very affordable when compared to the comics they shared the spinner rack with!
