Yes, that's the store. I was surprised to see two stores so close to one another. Hopefully he'll be back soon. I was there over the weekend and the guy opening the store was about 40 minutes late. I didn't know if it was a worker or a new owner. I got even more confused when I saw some of Elliot's old customers/helpers working at the other place.

Does anyone know if Speros Heroes in Chatsworth is still owned/run by Elliot? There is another comic store about a half a block away, and I saw on their website a picture of several guys that used to work at Speros Heroes wearing the competitions' t-shirt.

I hope he stays on the Probation List after the OP gets his books back. I'd be pretty pissed if I had to go through what he went through and then to have to wait another two or three days for the dude to find time to pack the books up for shipping. That should have been done while the banks were doing their thing with transferring the money. What a disaster.

Based on the TAT on their website I thought I would get the books back by Thanksgiving. When the order showed it was in QC a couple weeks back I thought I'd get it sooner, but I guess I'll be happy if it gets delivered before Thanksgiving.

Jeez this situation you had to go through sounds pretty stressful. You'd think the buyer would get the message that you weren't going to do any business with him after you returned his money the first or even the second time, but he tried seven time and still couldn't get it. I really hope you get your money back soon.

My biggest failed speculation purchase is More Fun Comics #52 in CGC .5. I've always wanted a copy of this book and thought this book should have good long term value since it's the 1st appearance of the Spectre. Sadly, because it doesn't seem to be offered for sale as often as other major GA keys, it seems like the book is stagnant.
