  1. I don't know the exact count, but I have about 160-180 long boxes and about 30 short boxes, so maybe about 45,000 to 50,000 books total. My graded collection is about 10 magazine boxes.
  2. Tough to find 1st, 2nd, and 3rd printings.
  3. Also had some of these to send in for grading.
  4. I started picking these up a few years ago. Nothing high grade though.
  5. Looks like a 9.0 - 9.2. Is that a stain/splotch on the BTRC?
  6. Looks pretty cool. I'm interested in seeing how that works.
  7. I think the OP stated he got refunded for the lost book. The current owner of the book probably paid, and it sounds like it was a legitimate sale, a very small percentage of what the work is actually valued at. If the value of the work was closer to like $50, then this thread probably would never have been created.
  8. So to marry the cover to the complete book. Still purple label, not conserve, unless CGC changed their stance on it.
  9. I'm sure there are a lot of scam sites out there, but if you're looking for a book (JLA?), then why don't you look for that book at legitimate sites or auction houses?
