Nominating Chi Bamm for the PL. I invoiced him on 6/6/13. We exchanged some messages about shipping costs and I quoted him a final amount. On 6/25/13, I messaged him about payment. Then again on 7/1, 7/16 and 8/4. All are unread.

Bump for this. If anyone knows Chi Bamm or how to reach him, I'd like to know before I nominate. He was invoiced on 6/6/13, we talked shipping, and then disappeared.

For those that ship 1st class in regular bubble mailers, what size do you use (9.5 x 12.5?) and what brand/where do you get them. Amazon is all over the place.

Anyone know or hear from Chi Bamm lately? Still trying to get payment on a stack of books from early June. All messages are unread.

I always thought the analogy was silly. Why would I want the glass to be half full if the glass is full of gross stuff? Wouldn't it make sense to just dump the glass out and then fill it with something better? Like a milkshake? Or booze? Or a new job so you'd stop being so miserable and start liking what's in the stupid glass?

I see a Magnus 12 in there. Get that.

I don't hate TBBT because I take myself or the hobby too seriously to laugh at it. I hate TBBT because it's thoroughly not funny. But I know I'm in the minority. They sell "Bazinga" (The most unfunny phrase in the history of the world.) shirts at Walmart.

How much you pay? Bout tree fiddy. I'm really curious what you paid, also. Even if it may be in bad taste to ask/answer. I've always wanted to go after big collections like that but when I've tried, i get no where. Are you giving a flat value per book? I went as high as $.25 a book on a big collection of mainly junk and still got denied.

Wow. I remember when you were still going for it before I stopped collecting and reading these boards. Crazy-awesome finish. Also, I think Action #2 might be my favorite DC cover of all time.

Such a rad day. I stopped into the LCS to grab some boards and saw they had a giant pile of FF's behind the counter. Turns out, it's some OO collection from these 3 brothers who couldn't share so they all had to have their own copies. So this pile is just multiples from 33 to about 108 and most where super nice. The best part: they were about 30% off of guide and another 50% off on top of that...I'm so glad I got out of work early today.

Crazy! That Scary Tales was in the box, too. The cover was great but it looked like someone used it as a taco shell.

Maybe I'm just an art-f@g but him and McKean were doing some of the only interesting comic art of the late 80s. That's a super bummer about the piece never being done. Good luck.
