First 9.8 I've gotten back, and very psyched it was this one! A bit of a bummer though--this, along with most of my other books this sub--came back with newton rings on the front. They're not too bad on this one, but it is a little frustrating, especially when they're in really obvious spots. I'd expect them on occasion, but I think like 7 of my 9 books came back with rings. Feels like this is something that needs to be addressed at some point, no?

Was hoping for a notch higher on this one, but this is still within the range I expected. Annoyingly, though, a small piece of plastic in the holder on the back of the book. Very bottom and pretty small so may not do ME, but we'll see...

8.5/9.0 with a press. Hard to tell with ticks/creasing on white covers but I’d imagine several of those are color breaking. Press will still help presentation though

Yeah press won’t help color breaks but I see a decent amount of creasing and non CB stuff that might bump this a bit. Probably tops out at 8.0 though. Currently maybe 7.0. (Basically, what those above me said haha)

With chip tanning and shadow I’ll say 7.5 post C&P

Stain seems pretty small but I’ll say 8.5 cus of that

I'd cap it at 8.0ish if you get a C&P. TBH it's up to you as far as whether or not it's worth it or not. If you intend to sell...depends on a number of factors--recent sales in 8.0 are around $100, and it costs $40-50 or so for C&P if you sub modern, if that helps at all. (Personally, if you intend to grade this book by itself to sell, I'd say no, considering cost for CCS/grading/handling/shipping to and from for one book runs bare minimum about $60). That said, if you want it for PC, throw all of that out of the window! Totally up to you and what you want to do with the book.
