I wouldn’t trust pwcc auctions for valid results. -

Agreed. I wonder how many of these Jersey cards will come out into the market after this sale. Not sure how long this will last. -

Forbes says Comic Art Market is still healthy.
AnkurJ replied to stinkininkin's topic in Original Comic Art
A very small part of the actual art market. They had a similar talk about the “market” at SDCC once. @Brian Peckcan chime in about that one. -

The website stopped accepting orders for printing them for obvious reasons. I had a cool printed for myself. They’re not supposed to be resold.

I'm surprised no one has put him behind Harlee Yee's table at a show yet.

There is still plenty of affordable art out there, but yes it may not be the most famous or well known artist. If you enjoy the characters and still enjoy the hunt, you can find some affordable pieces in the diamond mine.

Yes it has been quite a difficult year. Many people have gone above and beyond to keep this hobby going and provide a glimmer of positivity in an otherwise tumultuous time. First and most important, and should be on everyone's list. Bill Cox. Comic art fans has truly become the center stage for the hobby. Bill has worked tirelessly to maintain the site and offer new ways to engage collectors through his interviews and live video streams. We wouldn't be where we are without him and Comic Art Fans. Shameless plug, if you use CAF, become a premium member! @Bill Cox Joe Veteri for holding the comic art con in September. It as a time when the virus cases were low, and the turnout was great. Joe made sure to keep safety precautions in check. And everyone I spoke to had a great time just being able to see and chat with other collectors. Anthony Snyder. For a guy who does this day in and day out, his enthusiasm for the hobby hasn't diminished during this time. He sets up at the local shows and brings fun and affordable art every time. Its always a blast digging through his folios and bargaining with him! Mike Benham. Not sure if he on this board, but he is a fellow collector who started a weekly zoom chat. Initially it was just collectors, but after a while we had some great guest artists join us. I have made a few good friends through the chat as well. Bechara Maalouf. He has put up with me and allowed me to purchase a grail piece. Anyone who can put up with me deserves an award! Nick Barrucci: We became friends last year and have continued to chat through the pandemic. Always fun to chat to someone who shares the same passion for collecting. The best for last...Jason D'ambrosio @Unstoppablejayd Truly an awesome guy who loves X-Men more than I do. Love chatting art and other stuff with him. Jason, you have my paypal address
