  1. Nothing wrong with feeling this way. I took a break from comics about 10 years ago and started collecting something else. A few years later when I started looking at comics then, the enjoyment was much more than it was before! And it still continues today. Sometimes its good to take a step back and refocus. Regarding the comics etc being a burden to your family. Give your most trusted family member the name and info of an auction house, and let them handle the rest.
  2. https://www.ebay.com/itm/293867985664 Lower price here. PM if interested!
  3. Thanks! Plus I reduced prices on some of the more expensive pieces as well.
  4. 10% off all art in my FS gallery! Take a peek. https://www.comicartfans.com/ClassifiedsByCat.asp?gcat=236
  5. To be honest I’ve seen many cases where this is not disclosed. I guess it’s caveat emptor.
  6. Looks like the winning bidder put in a few bids at the end so his high bid was much higher than $2600! My MJ seems pretty reasonable after this sale
  7. There are some pages I have seen where a major artist is listed as the penciller, but in fact the pencils were only breakdowns with usually the inker doing the finishes and the inks. I have seen this in a few cases with John Buscema pages. How much does this change the value vs if the pencils were fully by Buscema or the other artist? Also should the dealer/auction house state that the pencils were breakdown only? Or is the due diligence the job of the buyer?
  8. Thanks for the hard work Bill! Can’t imagine how much time went into it. My few simple suggestions. 1. Some auction houses were using the platform to advertise upcoming items. I didn’t think this was the proper venue. 2. When and item is sold and updated as sold, is it possible for it to be removed? I tried removing art a few times but it didn’t work. A few had multiple inquiries after the fact. 3. Any chance of an archive?
  9. Not sure if an archive will be available due to the bandwidth required. What type of art were you looking for?
  10. Congrats! I made an offer but we couldn’t agree on it.
  11. Great stuff! Sold one bought one. 24 new pieces tomorrow https://www.comicartfans.com/comicartlive/Booth.asp?bid=86
  12. I will have a bunch of cheaper art (under $4-500), and a few more expensive pieces. Sunday will have a bunch of new art I have been given on consignment. Mostly 90's to early 2000's art.
  13. So basically as long as you pay the buyers premium and seller fee (if any) you can bid in your own lots?
  14. Fixed for you. At the end of the day, people will not care of the integrity of any dealer as long as it continues to feed their addiction.
