  1. Back when it came out, Wildcats 1 from Image had a “Gold” exclusive. Stores had to order hundreds of the regular issue to obtain it. I recall seeing prices as high as $500 for it before the comic crash. Today raw copies are anywhere from $20-$50.
  2. With Mylar having such a high melting point, in worst case of a fire any art stored within will be laminated and not turn to dust. I wonder if anyone has tried an experiment with this.
  3. The tape stains may have been why it remained low.
  4. No wonder restoration/conservation costs a fortune!
  5. Batman 9 https://comics.ha.com/itm/original-comic-art/bob-kane-jerry-robinson-and-george-roussos-batman-9-the-four-fates-title-page-1-original-art-dc-1942-/a/7087-92102.s?ic4=GalleryView-ShortDescription-071515
  6. Hulk 271 CGC 8.5. First Rocket Rabbit! $120 shipped in the US. PayPal included. Standard rules etc. first :take it: wins
  7. True, but fwiw, many times heritage will charge 0 or a negative sellers fee.
  8. Sold for $3600. Wonder who won. I was the direct underbidder.
  9. Yup. Should be interesting where the auction ends and how many bids are legit.
  10. Offers only on those pieces. Dealer in 4th pic was Metropolis/Comic Connect
  11. Albert Moy. I don’t believe the Superman was by Tim Sale.
  12. There was much more, I forgot to take pictures of everyone’s table.
  13. Fun show! Great art at great prices as usual. Was pondering one piece but it sold before I could pull the trigger. Bought nothing, sold one piece to another collector. Had great conversations over lunch!
  14. Safe to say Spiderman won’t be in the Venom movie later this year. Very good movie, but not Marvels best.
  15. From people I have spoken to, the attendance is light but every artist has a line. With the limited number of tickets sold, this isnt a surprise. All are sketching nice pieces but their lists are full obviously. Great show for people with deep pockets. Re: Jim Lee prices, based on what Albert Moy posted, there was a 9x12 full figure with simple background option for $6k.
  16. I will drop him a message for you as well. As far as I know it is available.
